I ordered a Western Omelette with a side of grits. The omelette was a serious disaster, however, the grits were @ least edible. They were slightly underdone. That omelette tho…that omelette never should have made it out of their kitchen. It had a white area, as if the eggs weren’t properly beaten before making the omelette…or @ least I hope that’s what caused it to be white. When I cut it to take my 1st bite, I noticed the inside ingredients were burnt to a crisp. For the life of me, I don’t understand why they thought this was ok to serve. It’s like they have no pride in their meals. I will never in life order from there again…it was that terrible!

My friend didn’t tell them. Like most people he just left. Lady owner needs to know. He said, “Breakfast at Gus’s. Worst breakfast. I kept thinking “How can it be so bad?” They should stick to hotdogs. At least, the coffee was good.”

Gus’s Hot Dogs is a Crestline Classic. Not only do they have great customer service, but phenomenal food that makes you feel at a local diner. I suggest you go before noon and get a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit(they are sincerely the best you will ever have, I’ve been here for years and they’ve only messed it up once or twice). Obviously there is room for human error but they are nice people and happy to help. Anyone that dislikes Gus’s is either a competitor or stupid.
Also Jay Carter’s review on this place is beyond parody, he’s obviously pusillanimous and can’t handle himself, sorry you’re so weak bro hit the gym.

I work near Gus’s Hotdogs, now let me say this: I do not eat red meat or pork, However, I always get An Egg & Cheese Biscuit when I order. It is so big and awesome I have to cut it in half to eat it!!
So yummy! My coworkers get bacon & sausage biscuits and they love them!
Thank you to the staff for feeding us in a hurry so we can work well all day!

I always get a chicken, egg, and cheese grit bowl. It’s not on the menu, but when I ask them, they make it!! AND, you don’t have to add salt or pepper!! It’s seasoned to perfection!!!

What a cool spot! Really small on the inside but the service is greay and good is delicious. Nice lady at the counter to help you out, with a guy on the line slapping stuff together non stop. Got chicken tenders and they bread the chicken fresh and use real chicken breasts for the tenders. Pays off because it was good and I’ll definitely be coming back.
