Came in on a Thursday night to finally check out the place and while it was a little quieter than I had expected I had a pretty good time. The music was pretty decent on a slow night and once I seen they had $1 wings in this economy and various of sauces, I knew I had to give them a try. Went with mango habanero and as the best wing sauce it hardly ever disappoints and it didn’t here. The wings were fried perfectly and had good amount of meat on them. Think the highlight of the meal and what I still am thinking about is the blue cheese they give. Not sure if it’s household or brought in from a special place but it was probably the best blue cheese I’ve ever had. Paired the meal with a yuengling and while the first one was poured a little bad, the second one was great and didn’t have a huge foam cap. Overall, coming in on a slow night wasn’t all that of a bad time because of some great quality food is being served even late at night. Will definitely be back.

Good evening Family. I visited this establishment for the first time today to watch the Eagles play the Commanders. Unfortunately the Eagles lost 24-17. I was seated by Kadek, who works here and was very nice and friendly and efficient. I decided to sit at a table. The bar area was crowded. I ordered all appetizers: Crispy brussels sprouts, which was $9.99, veggie spring rolls which were $4.99 and the cucumber salad which was $6.99. My total was $28.13 which included the tax which was $1.76 and the service fee which was $4.40. I am wondering now why they charged me a service fee of $4.40. The food was okay but the service by Kadek was superb. He was very friendly. When I asked about the Eagles game coming on at 4:25 pm, he immediately switched the channels and turned the game on. There was a sign which said if you want to watch a certain channel, they will change it for you. I visited the rest rooms and it was clean. There were two unisex rest rooms available. I enjoyed my visit here tonight. I only wish that the Eagles had beaten the lowly Commanders. I arrived in a Lyft and I left in a Lyft. The best way to arrive here is by ride sharing or public transportation. Workout, be healthy, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age. Good night.

I like the place for a sports bar, the music is good and the bartender was so kind (his name is Dan) and the service was impeccable. The happy hour food was amazing. You should try this place if you are spending a Sunday in Philly (happy hour everyday). It’s a good bar for sports !

⚠️ SERIOUS ALLERGY WARNING: I ordered the chicken, beef, and pork belly skewers and they were topped with a dusting of cashews that was NOT clearly disclosed on the menu. This is extremely dangerous for anyone with a nut allergy, as undisclosed nuts can cause life-threatening reactions. I experienced an anaphylactic allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the emergency room. DO NOT assume dishes are safe — confirm every ingredient before eating.

We got cheese steak egg rolls and buffalo wings and they were both amazing. The egg rolls had a Chinatown flair and we’re so crispy and juicy.
They had all the football games I wanted to see and the Phils of course. We chatted up our bar neighbors and Bri gave us the best service!

We came here on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that they have happy hour 4-6. We ordered a bunch of apps to share and the shark bite shots. The food was very good and fresh. The wings were also only .50 because the Phillies were playing. They were very meaty and a good amount of spice. Our bartender Victorand Bre were awesome and super friendly. We would definitely come back.

Stopped in here to watch a game and there were both pros and cons.
Pro’s: the food is good, and you get a nice portion for a good price! I had the General Tso’s nachos and man it was amazing! They also have plenty of tv’s, so it’s perfect for watching any sporting event. There is also plenty of seating throughout the restaurant.
Con’s: it took FOREVER to get both food and drinks! It took so long that my appetizer, entree, and my beer (which I ordered before anything else) came out at the same time, and only after I ran down the waiter. This was a direct result of there only being one waiter working the entire restaurant! Don’t know if this is a normal thing, or just a mix up that day, but either way that’s unacceptable! I watched multiple people leave because it took too long to get their first drink (I was almost one of them).
I would love to give Lion Sports bar another shot, but the wait to receive ordered items is a bit much to overcome!

I had an amazing experience at The Lion’s Bar! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our waiter, Brianna. She provided outstanding service—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish and really elevated our visit. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for great food and even better service!
