A very quaint diner for a quick meal, friendly chat and a dessert if you have room for it. We enjoyed toasted pimento cheese sandwich and cheeseburger. Stop by and enjoy as we did.

Health Department needs to come and visit this place. They will not let paying customers use the restroom. No gloves on while handling food. Disgusting and overpriced. DO NOT EAT HERE!

white chicken chili soup was not great. More of a tomato base just not what I expected. they’re Reuben sandwich is usually excellent, not great today not much meat and not much sauerkraut. it did also appear to be different workers so not sure if that’s why. I will still go back because it’s been very good in the past

Sandra’s in Fairhope, Alabama, is a charming local café and bakery that has earned a loyal following for its warm atmosphere and home-style cooking. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a friendly staff and the comforting aroma of freshly baked goods. It’s the kind of place that feels like a cozy neighborhood spot where everyone knows your name.

Went today with a colleague from work. Food was great. Service was exceptional! Also witnessed a very kind act of humanity. I need to mention I’m no advocate for the homeless. One of the people working there (not sure if she was the owner) went out an engaged with a person who was obviously homeless. She said hello then brought him a piece of cake and a sandwich. I thought is was a great moment.

Don’t visit this restaurant unless your a local resident because outsiders are treated poorly by staff !!
Owner allowed a local patron to use the bathroom but wouldn’t allow a out of town customers the same courtesy!!
Door to bathroom was locked after staff used it & it remained locked & would not unlock it when we asked to use it , VERY RUDE & UNFRIENDLY!!

We’ve been to Fairhope two times from Idaho and had lunch at Sandra’s each time. The food is fresh and delicious and the folks there couldn’t be friendlier. I had the hot ham and cheese on my last visit and it was very tasty. Generous amounts of ham and melted cheese, you won’t leave hungry. My daughter Loves the Ruben, she talks about it all the time and couldn’t wait to go back to get another one, which she did. She was not disappointed. Quaint atmosphere, its fun to sit on the patio and watch Fairhope walk by. Highly recommend.

Delicious! I had the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the taco salad. Both were VERY FRESH and VERY DELICIOUS!! The service was fantastic! If we come through the area again, we would definitely stop for lunch again.
