We tried this place two years ago and we really were disappointed with the food and the service. Our server this time kept checking in which was nice. The food was really good as it should be for the prices that are being asked. The price adds up quick as any substitutions come with a cost. This is not mentioned by the server or anywhere on the menu. I do feel if substitutions are equal there shouldn’t be a $2.50 up charge. Four pieces of asparagus should never cost $2.50 in replace of green beans. We can’t recall a charge like that when visiting two years ago. It’s just nice to know that the quality of the food is better as food would have been sent back to the kitchen this time around. It might have helped that the same meal from last time was not ordered. We look forward to stopping in again when back in the area. Lastly, the views are still fantastic.

Melissa at the front was very helpful and friendly. Taylor, our server, was great — we appreciated her suggestions and her attentiveness.
Everything that came out of the kitchen was wonderful; the pot roast poutine was a delicious leveling-up of a classic, and my date really enjoyed the seafood pasta. I loved the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. The bread was excellent, too. The attention to detail in the presentation made for visually beautiful dishes.
Watching the sun set through the large windows on the 12th story was lovely.

I had the beef Wellington dinner with prolly the very best lobster bisque I’ve ever had! The last couple of restaurants where I had lobster bisque looked like it was stored for a couple of days, reserving the same as is had gotten thicker and more orange.
The lobster bisque here was as it should be. I’m glad I gave this restaurant a chance. The steak was perfectly flavorful and overall the food was worth the wait.
We gave up eating out in my own small town as dinner at home is worth the money, as opposed to a waste of money!
We highly recommend this place for steak!

We went here for dinner one night as we were staying at the casino and the food was horrible. My husband ordered the lobster hollandaise sauce steak and when they brought his steak, they forgot to put the topping on it. It came out in a bowl and The steak was already cold by time it arrived. We had to ask multiple times to refill our water glasses. I decided to order a salad and add steak. The steak was so tasteless and gross that I didn’t even eat my salad. Highly disappointed, especially for a 200+ bill at the end. We didn’t take it out on the server, still left her a decent tip but I’ll never go back.

We had such a wonderful meal. The prices were pretty high, but worth it. My husband had the 20 oz Prime Kansas City Strip, he said it was the best steak he’s ever eaten. We had small children with us and our waitress was very patient.The service was absolutely great. We live about 2 hours away but will be eating here again, when we’re up this way!

We went here last feb and it was amazing and the bread before you order was good and free. Today, we ate there again and you had to order the bread for a charge. 6.50 per loaf. I got the mushroom risotto side and it was awful. Salty as hell. My brother got the prime rib and it looked rotten. He did ask for a different meat. My sister got the wedge salad and it was bland as hell. Seriously, when you charge these kinds if prices, the food better be perfect. We will come to the resort casino again but will rat at the Cafe instead. Never again. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve been to many steakhouses in my life. I hate to say this, but I don’t believe I’m ever coming back to this place. I would only give it a second chance if they comped my meal; and I’m not entirely sure that would make me want to come back.
My $100 steak (with scallops & oscare style topping) – ended up being served cold, they forgot to add the blue crab or hollandaise – so they heated it up in a bowl and served it to me that way.
The water glasses remained empty so much to where we had to keep asking other servers and even a host for water. I asked for my wine to be brought out with my steak and it was brought out during my salad course.
The only thing that was decent about our entire experience was when we left because we knew next time we are going to save $100 per person and order ANYWHERE ELSE.

Had a birthday party there with a group of 8. Every single persons food was undercooked. My steak was blue rare, ordered it medium rare. It tasted like raw meat smells. My asparagus was woody and huge, my potatoes were over seasoned (as well as everything else)
For a $400+ group, the food was incredibly underwhelming. We will definitely not be back and we live less than 5 minutes away.

We were there on Saturday, November 15th and went for dinner at horizons that evening. But on ordering a prime rib in medium rare I was brought a piece of steak that was overgrilled medium. Well done and not good. I asked the waitress to take it back as it was not really acceptable and to give me. She said she would get me a medium rare prime rib. She came back with the same one and says the chef says that’s the best he can do to make a medium rare prime rib. They offered to make another steak for me which was okay but everybody in our group six of us were eating and we had places to be for show. So I kept the steak and I’m very disappointed and probably will never ever eat prime rib there again. That was that was the worst prime rib I’ve eaten in my life.

10/21/25 – dinner at the Horizons Steakhouse was phenomenal as usual. Michelle was a top-notch server with a great sense of humor and professionalism. We enjoyed the ambiance, great wine and especially the food. Sharing an entree and several hors ‘douevers with my husband was the perfect meal to end the day. That’s why we keep coming back.
