This place is where the food of the Gods is made. It’s so good, I would slap a baby if that’s what it took to get it. You need to come here and stuff your face. Try the whole menu it’s all delicious beyond measure. The texture of their gravy, is the physical manifestation of puppy kisses.

I know. It’s that type of place you drive by over and over but never stop. It’s old and worn in, but the food is delicious, the wait staff are top notch and the prices are reasonable even for today’s standards. Don’t go to IHOP or Denny’s. They can’t offer you the personal touch Joseys can. They’ll get to know you and take care of you. I’ve been a customer for years and years and I’ve never had any complaints. No matter how busy, they always treat you like you’re the only customer there.

If you are craving a ‘true’ chicken fried steak for breakfast, this is the ‘best’ in Salem. Hand pounded, not a freezer steak. So tender, you can cut with a fork. Great size with flavorful gravy.

Been going to this wonderful little mom&pops diner since I moved to Salem in 2016. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, amazing cooks, and always smiling faces. Food is hand prepared and always fresh. Service is fast with great quality and always a friendly smiling face. You just got to come down and have a taste for yourself.

I got the mushroom burger with tater tots my husband got the waffles with hash browns and over medium eggs, our son got pancake with hash browns and scrabbled eggs. For your three plates 2 hot chocolates and a cup of coffee our total came to $39 and change.
