The place was understaffed on a Saturday night. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to schedule enough people on Saturday in the summer. We got in line at 8:20 and still haven’t received our ice cream at 10pm. The people in drive through get their ice cream with 20 minutes. I feel sorry for staff that had to deal with bad management decisions. They should schedule enough employees so if people call in sick they can properly handle the load. Do yourself a favor and go to the Glen Burnie location. They handle 3 times the capacity, I’ve been there when the line wraps around the building and have my ice cream in 10 minutes. People are sitting on the ground. They closed the walk up window at 9:30 but are still taking drive through customers. They must have matrix they must meet. This is incredibly poorly managed. The owner should have got off their butt and can to help. I won’t be back.

I love a simple chocolate milkshake with real ice cream. They have a drive-thru and shaded sitting area. They’re adjoined with Jersey Mike’s
Update: I returned a week later for another chocolate milkshake and was disappointed. The milkshake I received was more milk than ice cream so it just tasted like watered down chocolate. I think the quality of the menu items should be consistent; I’m not sure if I’ll return. Service and atmosphere were still great though.

I have a birthday in December and I am pretty happy about that since I can use my birthday reward as an excuse to eat ice cream in my car in December! You’d think that after all the Christmas cookies I ate this week that I would avoid Gingerbread Man ice cream. Nope! It’s soooo tasty! Thanks for the birthday treat!

I absolutely love this ice-cream shop. It’s conveniently located in Odenton. I love the Manager, she is so friendly with a bubbly personality. The surroundings are beautiful and clean. But most importantly the ice-cream is amazing. Not too sweet and plenty of flavors to choose from.

I’m usually a regular at Bruster’s and always come for two milkshakes (one strawberry, one vanilla), which are usually great. Last night I decided to switch it up and order a banana split, something I’ve had a few times before. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. There was a lot of ice cream, but barely any toppings—and no hot fudge at all. For a treat that’s supposed to be loaded with toppings, it felt incomplete and not worth the price. Hoping this was just a one-time slip, but definitely not the usual quality I expect from here.

An absolute atrocity! Tuesday night 8PM, 1 person on shift, line out the parking lot. Note to ownership or the GM, if you’re going to short staff to cut cost, at least service the customers waiting. Taking DoorDash orders while trying to manage a window and drive thru is absurd and impossible. Thank goodness you have a good worker in there, because most would have walked out.

Today I had the WORST experience EVER at Bruster’s. There were 2 young ladies working. The one on the walk up window Haley was short and not very friendly. I asked about a special I’d seen online. She said that she didn’t know anything about it. She asked her co-worker who confirmed. I placed my order anyway. She hands me my ice cream. I as for a bag. She says she doesn’t have any. Then she hands me 2 spoons–not wrapped up or anything. After I left I kept looking for where I’d seen the special–found it–and turned around and went back to the store. I showed it to Haley. She yells back to her co-worker that I had proof there was a special. She slams the window shut. Then she comes back and asks if I’d eaten any of the ice cream–I said no. She closes the window again. I said I’d like my difference in cost since I basically overpaid. The other young lady comes and says I’m going to have to come back when the manager is there because they don’t know how to handle that. No “sorry ma’am for the inconvenience or sorry for the problem”. She closes the window and leaves me standing there. Yeah..worst customer service ever.

I typically come here in the evenings with my boys. Today I decided to surprise my boys with ice cream but the customer service changed my mind. I was actually going to jersey Mike’s to pick up subs but went to the window first. The two staff inside were moving around so I tapped on the window. The young lady with bubblegum pink hair yells “it isn’t 12, so I don’t know why they’re here” It was 11:57 at the time and didn’t realize that they opened at noon. I came out of jersey Mike’s and address the rude girl but she acted like I she didn’t know what I was talking about. I won’t return to this location despite it being near my home. I refuse to spend my money at places that don’t value their customers.

Great local spot for ice cream!
Bruster’s in Odenton is one of my favorite places to grab ice cream. The staff is always friendly, and they do a great job even when there’s a line. The ice cream tastes super fresh and there are so many fun flavors to choose from.
I love that they give free baby cones for kids and even little treats for dogs. It’s just a nice place with a good vibe. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
