I was happy to find another place that does not use seed oils. I got the dirty benny with a garlic dill bagel, and it was delicious and filling. These are not your typical bagels, so don’t expect it. What you should expect are unique sandwiches and unique flavors. Is it pricier than your typical bagel place? Maybe. But for flavors you can’t find anywhere else and special sandwiches you probably wouldn’t make yourself at home AND no seed oils? I think it’s worth the price. The place is clean and is one where you can sit and do work. And that’s what I did. This will definitely be one of my favorite places to frequent for breakfast on a weekend, even if I have to drive about 20 minutes for it!

They taste good but not really like bagels. Really unique flavors but … it’s a giant fluffy roll. The lack of a hole prepared me for it to not actually taste like a bagel but yeah, just bread. Cream cheese was good. Prices are wild for a sandwich, especially to charge $4 for extra meat and give the thinnest slices of scrapple I’ve ever seen in my life? We got one bagel with cream cheese and one sandwich with “extra” meat and it was almost $20. Also, weirdly Jesus-y inside. It was good for a try but won’t return.

There are plenty of amazing bagel place in south jersey. Plenty of bagels that have holes in them. Plenty of bagels that are all the same in flavor. Bowood is different & I love it. The size of the bagels are very generous and filling. I love how these type of bagels holds the sandwich in. I will definitely be back. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a while. I love bagels this place is legit!

Normally I dont like to review a place until ive had it a few times. This place does not need that. First thing I was greeted with when I opened the bag was the smell of freshly baked bagels, and then a symphony of beautiful smells all hitting my nose at once. Then I saw a little handwritten notethat said they ranout of sausage, and gave me a bacon, egg, and cheese instead, and they apologized for that. They didnt have to do that, but that goes to show how much they care there
And thenI tried the food. Fellow New Jerseyians, these are Not your typical New Jersey Bagel. These are more Kaiser Roll shaped. They are so crispy on the outside, but on the inside, I wanna crawl into one and take a nap, its that pillowy. They have to be freshly baked, no question.
First off, THEY RESPECT THE SCHMEAR. I need to start off by saying the Honey, Fig, and Pistachio cream cheese, blew my freaking mind. It was sweet, but it was so light, and airy, it paired well with their Parmesan Asiago bagel which offered a nice salty, and crunchy contrast to that.
I was very skeptical about the Banana cream cheese, because, at least for me, banana flavored things are very hit or miss. This was a definite hit. Its creamy, fruity, the banana flavor is strong, but its FRESH banana. Thats the best thing about this place, it is FRESH.
They wanted to offer me a refund for the fact they didnt have sausage, but I wont be needing that. I appreciate it, but you can keep the money, as I will be spending alot more money here, and I will tell everyone I know how good this place is.
I want this place to do well. I dont want this place to go away.
If you took the time to read this whole thing, go get a cookie, you deserve it.

The “bagel” was tasty. And it’s a nice place But it gets 2 stars due to price and quantity. $11 for a pork roll and egg(no cheese). To top that off there was only one slice of meat. Come on. One and done. I don’t see this place lasting too long.

A little more on the pricey side, but worth it. Where else do sprouts come on bagel sandwiches around here? The bagel wasn’t super dense and had an almost fluffy top which was a great surprise. The turkey sausage and the Cooper sharp were also great additions. Had half left over for the next day. Will Def be going back.

It’s been a search finding a decent bagel. There’s a lot of options but they each have their own twist too it – too cakey, too bready, too doughy, too small. It’s like Goldilocks. Boswoods has the perfect bagel, they’re moist enough they don’t crumble and crack, and thick enough they fill you up and hit that spot. The staff is very friendly and attentive, you’re always greeted with a smile!

The Madre is very light and satisfying – the tomato and lettuce were crunchy.

The Blueberry with Strawberry cream cheese in a family staple of mine and a must try every place we go. You have a perfect balance of flavors in the shmear and the bagel.

Really wanted to love it, but I don’t. Waited almost 25 minutes for 2 bagels with cream cheese. This is the “spicy everything” with no seasoning. Barely had any bagel options, not even plain. Lacks flavor. Pricey, two people ahead of me got 2 bagels with bacon egg and cheese with no drink; and their total was $32. You pay that at a diner with quicker service. Won’t be back.

The reason I am rating so low is because it’s kind of ridiculous to charge what they are charging for the size of the bagel. The bagel is quite literally the size of my hand (and I’m small) the taste was good but again, it’s not worth the size.
They somehow have even smaller sizes? (Minis)
I honestly don’t see this store staying open long sadly… Unless they change the price / size of the bagels.

On the plus side, they have a cute kids menu! (Which most bagel places do not have a kids menu!)

I was so excited to try Boswood after hearing great stuff about the place from others. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The “bagels” are not bagels, and it’s not just the fact that they don’t have a hole – they taste like rolls. And they were ridiculously expensive. 6 bagels was almost $15. They are massive in size, I’ll give you that – but too big – using them for a breakfast sandwich made the sandwich difficult to eat due to the thickness of the “bagels”. Not what I was expecting, and I won’t be returning.
