Hands down, best burger I’ve had in my life. All of the burger choices were out of the ordinary, so I had trouble choosing. I went with the Matt Dillon. The bun was more of a brioche style than I expected. Very fresh. The tomato tasted fresh from the garden. It was too big to finish at once but too good not to. I’d definitely recommend asking it be cut in half and making it two meals. I wanted to love the potato salad but didn’t. It was good, just not great. I had the blackberry cobbler last week and it was the highlight of my day. The food is a bit pricey, but I’m willing to pay extra for locally sourced and support small business. My biggest complaint is that their large drinks are more of a medium. Would return to try everything on the menu.

Got potato salad with my sandwich that was extremely yellow and very very tangy. I asked to trade it for fries but the owner refused and said I could pay extra for the fries. $40+ for two adults and a child and they won’t listen to a customer. I think they use frenches yellow mustard and not a nice deli mustard. Very sad and unprofessional owner. The owner didn’t even come out to the table just sent the front cashier. We were the only customers at the time, so they weren’t busy.

This was a pleasant surprise in this quaint community. All the food is freshly made and grown locally. Simply delicious. My hubby had the 1/2 lb cowboy burger and it was huge and pure beef. It also offered a good selection of coffees and teas. Definitely worth a stop if you are craving a bite to eat!

We stopped in the way to Branson, and I’m glad that we did….
Food is so delicious and portions are huge… everyone was full and had left overs…

Amazing homemade ice cream! We loved every flavor and it was all super fresh! We were driving through in the winter and they were open. Jolly cone definitely has some competition! We will be back!

This food is so good for your body! It’s very clean food. They raise it themselves! I was able to eat a whole meal here, get full, and the best part of it all is I felt amazing. I was full of energy instead of the usual sluggish pull I get after a large meal ANY place else. The food we put INTO our bodies is so SO important and these folks understand it! I WILL be back!! I thought the whole meal was amazing. Fresh eggs, homemade gravy, hash browns were crispy & done perfectly, & the homemade yogurt sure made my tummy so happy!! The restaurant itself os clean and like a little shop inside with a country charm. The music is inoffensive and family oriented. This is a great place! I will be back to try the BEEF BACON after the slaughter season. ANYONE who looks for the cleanest foods will understand the pricing of items is worth the items. You literally get what you pay for with nutrition. It was worth every penny for my body to not feel ill after a meal!!

I can’t understand why there’s not a line out the door here. Okay, sure, it’s a town with a pop. of 746, and its dining area is 3-4 times that of your average Starbucks. But the vibe, the service, the food, the coffee is def 5 stars.
It’s sort of a coffee house (that’s the vibe – couches, funky décor, rustic ceiling, music playing….) but it’s also a legit restaurant. This is real food, too, not just pastries.
And the food: amazing. Where can you get true farm-to-table dining in a tiny town along a rural stretch of highway! Well….. right here, yo, right here. And I mean literally farm-to-table; the owner and her husband have a local farm and you’re getting a taste of what they grow and raise right here. The veggies, the beef, even the yogurt, is made fresh and from the local farm. So, predictably, everything is flavorful and ridiculously fresh.
Of course food PREP is important; even farm fresh food has to be prepared right. No worries: terrific tastes and textures, and crazy generous portions. No one has ever accused me of having a dainty appetite but I simply could not finish my plate.
Seriously, folks: whether you’re a local or a passerby on Hwy 60, you’re missing out if you don’t drop in.
The only thing that might not be your cup o’ tea is the music playing in the background. It’s Christian praise music. BUT, I mean come on, this is the South, where that sort of music is not only common but appreciated. AND they aren’t blaring it to the high heavens (see what I did there?) but putting it at a nice, subtle backgroundy volume; you won’t even notice if you don’t want to, and yet high enough to enjoy it if that’s your jam.

Just wanted to share a story about this place. We were headed back from Kentucky Lake spending time with family. Upon arriving the owner and her daughter were heading home and stated they were closed. We accepted the fact we would need to find another place to get coffee and asked where to go. To our surprise, the owner opened the door on the day the were closed just make two random people a cup of coffee. Little did she know that the day started off rough because we were saying goodbye, possibly for the last time to a family member. It was a somber 9+ hour drive, but that little moment of kindness help add some light to the day.
Thank you so much for being kind and having a good heart. We will forever make sure to stop in for a cup of coffee, when open of course.
