Old old old incredibly old school pizza joint with a vibe frozen in the early 80s pretending to be the 1950s. They’ve got anchovies, does that help explain the vibe? Mexicola, too. Booths are a Lurks snug for my midlife fatness, but I love seeing my wife eat pizza that makes her happy.
It’s like an amusement park ride for pizza in real life. Definitely worth the experience.

I’m very disheartened as a faithful customer and I will now have to find another place to order from. My family ordered food an was overcharged due to a website of this business that hasn’t been updated in years according to the person that answered the phone. Not only were they not willing to refund the difference, the individual became belligerent and had his energy returned.

I was on my way to a work assignment around noon and was planning on skipping lunch, but I saw the storefront out of the corner of my eye as I was driving by. Still having a 70’s era Coke sign with your restaurant name on it means the owners either have supreme confidence or complete apathy about their business, and since I was craving a slice, a made a U-turn to find out which one it was. The physical building probably has not seen an upgrade inside or out since Jimmy Carter was president. Red vinyl cushion stools at the counter on one side, shabby tables on the right and you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathrooms. This is my kind of place!!! I sat at the counter half way down from the one other person in there and could not resist ordering a plain slice and a cheesesteak with fried onions and hot peppers.
Slice: thin crust and crispy at the edges. It was fine, but lacked salt.
Steak: Excellent crusty roll, chopped meat was blended with the onions and peppers which is the way I like it, layered over top of the American cheese in the bottom of the roll and finished in the pizza oven. This gave the bread a delicate crunch that balanced the salty, just-oily-enough filling. It is a decent size 10″+ roll and I devoured all of it.
This place is classic Delco. Go enjoy it!!!

The cheese and sauce is DELICIOUS. Best tasting mozzarella and the crust was just slightly crisp. Perfectly cooked! My daughter had a cheese burger and it was a thick pattie that tasted great! My 4 year old son ate 4 cheese slices, Wow!
Excellent food, great in and out little shop. Don’t miss it. Cheese steaks are popular too!! Enjoy!!

Very good, very old school pizza shop cheese steak. You walk in and you know these guys have been making cheesesteaks together for a long time. I am 99% sure it was a Conshohocken Bakery roll. I like my Conshohocken Bakery rolls. They melted the cheese onto the role in the pizza oven, yummy. I love that. They season the meat nicely so it had a nice flavor. It was $8.50, you know I didn’t hate that. It was on the small side. Very good overall experience and the winner of my mini Bryn Mawr looking across Conestoga Road at each other cheesesteak Showdown.

Absolutely horrific customer service, the owner has harassed my family and called them slurs. The staff is extremely rude and shitty

My go to every time I go to Conestoga Pizza and I’ve been going for over 30 years since my days at Villanova University. I’m a guy born and raised in DELCO so I know a thing or two about what makes a good cheesesteak. I absolutely love their Steak Royal! It really can’t be beat in the suburbs for a great cheesesteak. Even the name is fantastic! It’s basically a pizza steak grinder style with mozzarella cheese on top and tossed in the oven to make it perfectly crusty. Also has onions and sweet peppers and mushrooms. You really can’t go wrong with the Steak Royal, my favorite when passing through Nova for any reason. Newtown Square pizza was my go to in high school (Marple Newtown) back in the late 80s but they since changed (in the 90’s) the whole structure of the place and they don’t make them the same way. The staff in Conestoga Pizza are no nonsense they way most things are in Philly. The guy in the other review was probably double parked.

Taking the time to update my previous review.
The BEST mushroom with fried onions, cheeseburger I have EVER eaten. Conestoga Style Pizza is my new go to for excellence and Quality. Everyone at Conestoga style pizza is very nice and accommodating. I definitely found my favorite pizza, cheesesteak and hamburger spot at Conestoga style pizza in Garrett Hill

Black olives on one half, mushrooms on the other half….The pizza was the best, DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend Conestoga Style Pizza

Not really sure how this place could get anything below 5 stars. I personally witnessed that man who reviewed below and claimed to have been yelled at. The issue at hand was that the man had parked in a spot that was designated for Conestoga Style Pizza and attempted to buy his food elsewhere. This is an ongoing issue the shop has dealt with over the years and personally, it’s pretty disrespectful toward the business. This the kind of mom & pop shop that you don’t see just anywhere anymore. If I could give above 5 stars I would. The food is phenomenal all around, the atmosphere is quaint and cozy, and there’s a reason this shop has been open for 45+ years. Highly recommend whether you’re just driving past it, or from the area it’s definitely a fantastic joint to check out PS: If you’re looking for slices, you’ve gotta beat the lunch rush in because they go pretty quick!

Fantastic pizza, and the wings are good too (extra crispy if you ask). I also like two “young” gentlemen doing the magic in the kitchen. Highly recommended.
