Had supper there on Sunday. This is a small café along the highway and is very cozy and inviting. I had the Poblano Chicken Breast and my wife had the Mexican Burrito. The portions were huge and had great flavor and presentation. Our waitress was attentive and service was spot on. Our tab was under $35 for a great supper.

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Louisiana. This was a very pleasant unexpected surprise! My wife and I each ordered Migas plates and coffee, the food was excellent and the coffee was very good too. The price was extremely fair, especially for the food that we got to eat. We will definitely be back next time we drive through Rogers!

You gotta get the rojos enchiladas with ground beef and add their queso! 10/10. The only reasons it isn’t 5 stars is that the beans are a bit runny, they don’t give a much rice in the to go plates, and it is a bit pricey. Flavor of everything is awesome though. I would order their rice for dinner at home!

New Mexican food restaurant. Lots of menu choices. The barbacoa mini tacos were awesome, el pastor mini tacos were very good as well. Taco salad got an A. White wings got an A. Texas schrimp, which were bacon wrapped received a B. The chicken wings & fries were average with a C grade. The child’s plate enchilada received A grade as well. This restaurant has potential to be very good. I highly recommend it. Prices were affordable. Service was good & friendly. Update, 2nd trip, chimichanga was excellent. Enchilada plate average. Crispy tacos were good, but not enough lettuce on plate, & sour cream addition is $2 extra, but the ground beef is flavored well. Queso was good, but had to send back to be heated in microwave. Chips need improvement. Update, had breakfast here, highly recommend pork chop & egg breakfast. Bus quits are a bit on hard side, gravy is bland, I suspect an instant mix, even though they said it was scratch made. The menudo, was average. Service is excellent. My wife said the French toast was very good. Dinner December 22, #19 mini Barbados tacos, are the bomb, just awesome. Loved the cast, but some said it was to Spivey. Wife said chimichanga still very good. On rare occasions, they can be short staffed. Be patient. On another occasion wife had ribeye, it’s thin cut, but was very good. The queso compuesto is incredible. Love the gorditas also. This place just keeps getting better.

We always l9ve our Taqueria El Mexicano in Temple but we were coming thru Rogers and thought we would try this one. Mistake this brother doesn’t have the Taste or Quality of Food as the ones in Temple. The Enchiladas Rojas were not the same and Definitely the Refried Beans DISGUSTING. They had a special $9.99 any Enchiladas plate and the waitress messed that up. Tried to charge us way too much. I had to correct her then she still tried to charge $12 instead of $14 I would not give her my card until she learned her math or to use that register. Thia is where they pocket your money We will not be back.

I was seated immediately upon entering and given the menu. But, it seemed an eternity before someone came to take my order even though the menu was folded on the table and it looked like 4 or 5 wait people wandering the dining room.

We stopped in on our way home to Rockdale and let me tell you, we will be back! The wait staff was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! Best I’ve had in a long time and I would know because our town has a lot of Mexican restaurants!!! Well done Rogers!
