Good sushi place! Very nice staff and great service! Their fish was fresh and I liked all the nigiri’s we ordered. Their rolls were okay, not the best. Their miso soup was okay, and the deep fried gyoza was good. In general I think it is a good sushi place, slightly over priced compared to the quality of the food, but I think it is the best sushi you can find in this area.

Nicely laid out venue with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered bento boxes and were nicely surprised. Plentiful serving, nicely presented, and high quality food. I modified mine to have sashimi instead of the tempura and was pleasantly surprised that was not a problem. Very big servings we ended up with left overs of the salmon and short ribs. Salad was fresh and and a nice blend of flavors, dressing was bright and tasty. Sushi and sashimi was generous and very fresh. Excellent meal worth the price. Highly recommended.

This sushi spot truly exceeded expectations. The poke salad was a refreshing start—vibrant, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. The yellowtail kama was grilled to perfection, with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat that melted in the mouth.
One of the surprising standouts was the bacon-wrapped asparagus—a savory bite with just the right smoky crunch. And the Ladera Special? A beautifully composed dish that showcased the chef’s creativity and attention to detail.
Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the quality of the ingredients really shined. Whether you’re a sushi purist or just looking for something delicious and memorable, this place delivers. Highly recommend!

Sushi chefs here are the best and so nice!
The rolls were amazing and priced between about $15 to $22.
Had a very nice Merlot.
Yellowtail roll I had with tuna inside and Jalapeño on top was my favorite. Also enjoyed the garlic edamame.
Easy 5 star sushi restaurant and some of the best sushi in Orange County that I’ve tried but with a small restaurant friendly vibe.

Came here for the first time, the service was good but the food not so much. The appetizers were not bad but the sushi and rolls were not fresh. There was even a piece of plastic/shrink wrap in the roll we ordered which was gross. We will probably not come here again.

I’m super picky about sushi and this place is one I’ll for sure be coming back to! It’s clean, really nice, and more importantly, delicious. I tried the Mother’s Baked Roll and the Baja California roll and I would order both again. The Mothers Baked Roll is full of flavor, and the Baja Ca roll is fresh! We also tried the Garlic edamame which was cooked perfectly. I’m not a fan of soggy edamame, so this restaurant cooked it to perfection. The garlic crunches made it even better! We also ordered a glass of wine and they’re not stingy with their pours, which made us very happy. We will be coming back 🙂
