I was greeted with respect and kindness.
I was looking for a real meal, real food and I got just that.
You get your moneys worth. Very generous servings so bring someone with you or plan to eat some tomorrow.
Lastly I want to say. EVERYTHING is made with LOVE!
I was gifted a tres leches and I will say I am not normally a fan but, OH MY GOODNESS 🙂
I’m sweetie….and that cake hits every spot!
Beef walking taco- YUMMY! The meat perfect the rice- perfect.
Empanadas- 9.5/10 a little too cheesy for me but that’s a personal preference.
Overall it was better than expected.

Owner is very friendly, and we tried a number of foods. This is coming from someone with a Puerto Rican grandmother who ruled the kitchen- the dishes we had were very, very good.
Rice was well seasoned and the appropriate texture-no clumps at all. The roast pork was also delicious and the perfect level of moist.
Both the potato and macaroni salad were delicious. Especially with the rice. Honestly I can’t decide which I liked more.
I’ve also had her savory empanadas, which are a tasty lunch.
The flan was the perfect sweet treat. It’s firmer than a Goya flan, and just the right level of sweetness. The guava pastries were also pretty good.
I’d say her food is a great representation of Puerto Rican cuisine. If you’ve ever been interested, give it a try!

Food was really good here. I had the chicken and beef empanadas and they were filled with meat unlike other places. I also had the hot Doritos taco bag and it was filled to the top with toppings. Tasted so good. Lots of cheese & sour cream which I love. Nothing dry about it & filling. Generous portions and we got our monies worth. Tres leches was also good. Me & my boyfriend will definitely be returning to try something else

I finally got a chance to stop in and grab some empanadas, yellow rice, and beans. Everything was delicious, the empanadas are to die for. And the owner is so sweet, kind, and genuine.

Went because I was in town and always look for unique places to eat. Pork was flavorful and tender. Rice and peas were the perfect texture. I will travel anywhere for good empanadas. The empanada dough was light, tender, and perfectly fried. I liked the beef slightly more than the chicken but that’s just my preference. Will definitely return.

I absolutely LOVED this place! It was so vibrant with its culture and flag EVERYWHERE! I was trying to get here for the longest time and finally saw it was open. I had already gotten food but I HAD to check it out! I got the Passion Fruit Juice and the Apple Pie Empanda and it was SO DELICIOUS. It makes me so excited to try more of their food. I’m definitely coming back and will be returning with friends!

I sometimes avoid restaurants where I will sound like a dumb American mispronouncing things and asking a lot of questions, but I am so glad I decided to eat here! The ladies were super friendly, warm, and patient with my questions. The homemade food was delicious (the shredded pork was my favorite), and the plate portions, empanadas, and cups for various fruit juices are large. I took home enough for another meal, and the amount I paid for the food I got, plus the overall vibes was, in my opinion, not enough! I will definitely be returning!
