Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive – thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful – a place where coffee could fuel connection.

Wow! They literally ignore you at the walk up window!!! I stood in the rain and watched 15 cars get served, then there was nobody in line at all, and they still looked at me, and ignored me! I will never goto this black rock again. Its a shame, they used to have great friendly staff.

Ordered a Chai Tea. Cup smelled like coffee and my drink tasted like coffee. I DO NOT like coffee. Went right back and they made another Chai tea for me, but same thing. I will not be back to this location!

I recently tried the new breakfast burrito and found it to be quite disappointing. The tortilla was mushy and overly wet, making it difficult to handle without it falling apart. I experienced trouble lifting it out of the foil wrapping without the contents spilling out. On a positive note, the coffee was excellent; however, there is definitely room for improvement in the food quality.

We recently moved here from Vermont in April, and we discovered this wonderful chain. I have been very excited about the food, drinks and service. I started working in Clackamas OR and this location is really close to my work. It was outstanding service until about 2 weeks ago. I like to order a Bagel and I ask them to put the cream cheese on it, because i’m in dress clothes for work and it makes a mess. I also tip them because they go out of their way. The last 3 times (2 weeks) They have refused to accomadate my request. so I take the bagel off my order completely.I finally gave up going. I miss the 2 summer girls who didnt bat an eye, however they are gone for the winter. I just jump over to Panera or Mcdonalds now. Neither as good, but I don’t have time to do 2 stops. I feel like this is a very minor request, for the loss of money in supporting them. . Today I went through to only ask for a bagel, giving them one more chance. I now sent a letter to Corporate, but unsure if that will go anywhere. Not an outgoing staff

Took 30 minutes to get through the drive thru with 4 cars ahead to me. When I received my what was supposed to be frozen fuel it was no longer frozen. They handed me a melted drink… I’ll never return. Horrible.

Have had good experiences at this location. Girls there are always friendly and take good care. Drinks are usually on point.
The only suggestion I have is to revamp the hot chocolate recipe to add more chocolate. Usually tastes like sweet creamy milk with a bit of chocolate flavor. Their whipped cream is excellent though!

Wow! Went over at Starbucks across the street and they were … closed. This was the second day in a row they were closed at this time. It was 8:30 AM. There was only a barista behind the counter to tell us that they are closed indeed. Went over across the street where I was quickly served with my favorite type of coffee and a big smile. The only draw back is that they don’t have a way to warm up my favorite crosant.

I have been a long time customer. I have spent hundreds of dollars at Black rock coffee. Recently they change their loyalty program, and have cheated me out of all of my loyalty points. I am outraged. They should be ashamed. Unless they fix this. They will lose mine and all my friends and families business.
