Great find!
We were in the mood for a good eat in Pizza spot and looking around Norfolk or VB town center, but decided to try this local place Pizza Amanti, (Pizza Lover). Having lived in Italy for a few years, this spot had real Italian vibes. Service was very great with owners being very welcoming and friendly. Very clean and moderately elegant dining area. Pizza was not common at all with great options and having great wood oven mildly smoky flavor. I thought pizza was great with dough being thick but light, just excellent. Highly recommend this place and especially if you’re a true “pizza lover”.

Wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight. We tried it after seeing the 4.9 rating (on 2/12/26). The place absolutely deserves a 5 of 5. It’d be a 10 of 10 if that was a scale. The pizza is extremely fresh and delicious. I had a cheese pizza, my wife got the Pompeii (seeing all the reviews about it). We both thought our pizzas were excellent. The service could not have been more attentive and genuinely friendly. It wasn’t the ‘fake’ friendly you see around so much today. You can tell it’s genuine concern that you enjoy your experience with them. They WANT you to enjoy their restaurant. The only thing I wish was different was that they had booths. My wife and I much prefer a booth for the more quiet and more intimate setting with a booth. But that is a minor point.

This place is amazing!!! I especially love that it’s locally owned!
We have been wanting to try it out and we waited too long.
Best pizza in the Hampton roads area. Better than pizza in Italy! If you’re picky about your crust and tiramisu, try this place, you won’t be disappointed.
We had two pizzas only because we couldn’t get more for two of us. Will definitely go back to try more! Their bruschetta and eggplant starters are so yummy!
Friendly staff all the way around. You can tell they care very much from our time dining there.

Being born and raised here in Chesapeake, just less than a mile away… I am so disappointed with myself that I didn’t come to eat here sooner! I’ve picked up numerous deliveries, but never did I take the time to sit and eat. Finally- last night we did! Walking in, we were very warmly greeted. It took a few minutes to get sat, and in that process I accidentally knocked over one of their plants – they were very cool about it and even were joking us the rest of the night. Being a plant lover myself, I felt so bad. But no plants were harmed in the process, and laughs were had. The atmosphere here is unlike anything else. This is a true locally owned business. This was my first time trying the wood fired pizza and I think im hooked!! It was DELICIOUS. You can tell the quality of the ingredients is top tier. We all ordered desserts afterwards, and the cannolis are divine The croissant with Nutella, whipped cream, etc was out of this world good… The service… EVEN BETTER. This place knows what they’re doing We will for sure be back!

What a gem! This family-owned Italian-Filipino pizza restaurant is a must-visit. The service is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the love and care they put into everything. The food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious—every bite of the pizza was packed with flavor. To top it off, the homemade desserts are out of this world—so tasty and made with that special touch you only get from a family kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and an even better dining experience!

Food is amazing. Portions are huge. We tried several appetizers, bruschetta and fried mozzarella. Everything is made in house including the mozzarella. Pizza is stone oven baked with that crisp crust thin bottom and thick layer of cheese on the sauce. They also have a spicy sauce we tried. Its not hot spicy but its got a little kick after a few bites. A pizza can feed one hungry person or two normal eaters. We each had our own but was only able to eat a quarter or half and we took home the rest. My family and I tried the tiramisu and croissant that was baked with Nutella inside and icecream on top. Incredible. All homemade and it tastes fresh and amazing. 98% of of their menu is made in house. I am guessing the other 2% are the alcohol and sodas that is from outside. This place is quality. The owners and staff are good folks that care about your input. They are making cheesecakes Tues. So we are coming back for sure.

An impromptu date night brought us here this evening. As soon as we walked in the scent of real, fresh pizza wafts at you. We enjoyed two different pizzas that were truly stellar. The Mona Lisa was amazing. The fresh ingredients shine in the flavors. Cannolis to go were fantastic too. The staff was warm, welcoming and very attentive. We will definitely be back.

I came here because I had to do a project for school where we interviewed a food service establishment to find out how they worked. This is a family owned restaurant and they are so kind. They were willing to work with me and answered all my questions. While I was there I noticed that they greeted everyone immediately as they walked through the door, all of their food is fresh, and they talk to everyone who comes in and makes everyone feel welcome. They were kind enough to give me a pizza even though I offered to pay for it, and it was really good. Their menu also has things other than just pizza. I would totally recommend this place to people. If you like a good cheesy, homemade style, crispy pizza. This is the place to go!

My husband and I absolutely love the pizza here! We’ve ordered it on many, many occasions, and have beyond enjoyed it each and every time. I am originally from the NJ/NYC area, and we are extremely picky and judgmental of pizza and bagels! Which means I can tell you, without a doubt, that this pizza is very much worth giving a try! The family that owns this place, is always so kind and friendly to speak with. Five stars all the way!
