Lodi has some amazing selection when it comes to tacos and food in general. Peña’s has probably the best asada tacos I’ve ever had of recent. I’m not saying other places I’ve previously gone to are bad; it’s just better as far as taste, amount, and quality. I’m happy that we locals have choices. Peña’s is also available via DoorDash if you’re unable to make it across the freeway. Overall, we are very happy with the food we just ate and I’m looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the near future.

Got it doordashed. I got the bacon breakfast burrito, chicken taco, and carnitas taco. The chicken taco was meh. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. The bacon breakfast burrito was DISGUSTING. Not sure how the reviews say the breakfast burritos are good. The bacon wasn’t even bacon, it was just giant chunks of pork. The taste was horrible. No seasoning. The flavor was really strange and I took one bite and couldn’t swallow it. Threw it away right after.
This place gets 2 stars only because the carnitas taco was actually bomb. It was juicy and lots of meat. If I came back here it would only be for that.

Seriously best burrito I have ever had or tasted the tortilla smells just so fresh I almost think it was homemade I got Horchata and it was the best drink also, I’ve ever had. Why did I not know about this place along time ago super hidden gem! You can tell they really take pride in their food

Food is really great but recently in the morning time the meat is so SALTY! The chicken is even salter than the asada and it just makes it so hard to enjoy a taco or burrito with very salty meat, it just kills the whole experience and makes me not even want to finish it honestly. Plus on doordash I don’t even get my full refund so it’s disappointing to pay for a meal you can’t even eat. Plus the radish and lettuce has been tasting really off, almost sour like as if it went bad. I would recommend staying away from these items or buying from there later in the day when the food is made fresh.

My favorite place to eat. Literally the highlight of commiting to Lodi. These are the fattest tacos you’ll eat anywhere. The burrito bowl is enormous, get the side order of extra tortillas to go with it! Best tortas anywhere. If I could marry a taco truck, it would be this one.

First time trying this place and I had the California burrito and it was exceptional. The carne asada was flavorful and tender loved the grilled jalapeños inside as well. Can’t wait to try more of their menu.
