Firehouse Subs in Monaca never disappoints! The food is always fresh, hot, and made exactly the way you ask. The sandwiches are packed with flavor and the quality is consistently top-notch.
What really sets this location apart is the service. Manager Matt does an outstanding job; he’s friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in running a great store. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and his team, which makes the whole experience even better.

Very good sub!!! It took a minute for the staff to take my order, I do appreciate that they were short staffed, it was worth the wait. They have a hot sauce bar, which I think is pretty cool!

Our first time. Clean place. We were greeted quickly. We ordered a large New York steamer, a French dip and a Mac-n-cheese. Then we did our best to find a spot to sit where cold air was not blowing on us. It was 15 degrees outside and maybe 60 degrees inside. My guest ate with her coat on. When the food arrived we were surprised by the small quantity of everything. The Mac-n-cheese was only half full. The dipping sauce was bigger than the small sandwich. My steamer was made in a rush (meat not uniform) even though the place only had one occupied table. After looking at the menu online I could have added bacon to the steamer for $4, making it a $18 sandwich. Also they offer lettuce, tomato, etc. I guess I’m supposed to know that since it was never brought up by the person who took my order. I think a New Yorker tall boy at Primanti’s is a much better value at $11.69. In the end I doubt we’ll be back – there is just no reason to go here when other places offer a better experience and a better value – just a couple blocks away.

I’ve loved firehouse for years and got hooked on them when I lived in Florida. Every single firehouse I’ve ever been to has always been upbeat and friendly but this location makes you feel like you’re intruding and a nuisance.
I walked up and said hello and the cashier stared at me without saying a word like “yes? And??” Almost as if I interrupted her work day.
I ordered and went to sit but they called my name and she half slammed the tray in the counter window making the top bun slide off and lettuce go askew so I had to rebuild it.
I won’t give up on firehouse but I won’t be back to this location, that’s for sure

I gave them a second chance and it was worse this time around. I got 2 slices of ham on stale bread. This location just needs to close already since it can barely function

Was there with my wife and 2 grandkids. Service was helpful with suggestions and patient while the grandkids figured out what they wanted. Food was excellent and love thi hot sauce bar!

Thanks Matt Perry. We came in a few days ago. The food and service were the best we’ve had! The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere is fantastic. We will be back again very soon.

Visited this location during lunch rush on 8/28/25. The poor girl working was all by herself. Taking orders, money, and preparing food. She was excellent even though the situation was ridiculous. Why would you have one person to do all of that during lunch hours? Food was very good however I did hear her tell other costumers that she was out of several products. Do better Firehouse.

Slow enployees . Awful customer service. Visited this location several times and each time 30 plus wait for a sandwich . Extremely slow employees . I understand most employees are overworked and underpaid . I also understand some establishments are not properly staffed . Waiting extremely long for a sandwich at this location is a ongoing issue .
