While I have never written a review for a restaurant before, there is an exception to every rule! Tonight my wife and I found ourselves at The Sumner Night Market and decided to try P & J’s Waffle Delight. And what a delight it was! We were both impressed by the friendly and helpful staff that informed us about mixing and matching our combo to align with our taste buds. We decided on a churro waffle combined with the honey garlic fried chicken and it was amazing! The waffle was made perfectly without being too sweet, and was just like a churro only less crispy, but the real star was the chicken! Wow! Three tenders cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crunch and a flavor that could make you wonder what you did right in life to deserve it! It was sweet and savory with just the right amount of heat. I wish we had ordered another helping to take home! All I can say is thank you and please keep up the good work! We will be back!

The waffles are soft with a nice crispness on the outside, with a gentle flavor that pairs well with everything they give you.
The OG chicken has a really peppery batter that I absolutely love. While we’re on the batter we should talk about how crispy it is with a delightful crunch.
The Ari chicken has a nice garlic punch, a moderate amount of spiciness and comes out kind of like a better buffalo tender.
Also let’s talk about how the chicken itself is good quality and you’re 100% getting your money’s worth of it, there’s no skimping on quality or quantity here. Each bite is nice and juicy all the way through.
Bear in mind, it can be a little greasy for some, but you’re grabbing fried chicken on a waffle, ya gotta live a little. Overall I recommend this place and you can tell this food is made with love.

Whoever the genius driver and owner is on this day managed to block the fire lane and roundabout during the cheer competition at Stadium HS, expertly backing up traffic. No one could get through and had to back up the steep hill. It’s dumping rain, and no one could drop the kids off because the mastermind couldn’t park 20 feet further ahead in the wide open parking spot in the yellow in front of the food truck in front of you. That’s the black Ford truck in the photo. Pay more attention when you are parking the food truck and your surroundings, super star! It doesn’t matter if an event coordinator tells you to park there. Use your brain and look at the traffic you are blocking. Make decisions for yourself. It’s your truck, right? You can see when you’re blocking, right? You have the power to change that. What you did was create a very dangerous safety situation. You are telling me you couldn’t see all the cars turning around? Wow. Won’t be a next time because you should move. Will just call it in and have you towed. Two brians did this and you agreed yeah ok I’ll park here and block traffic to make a $1. Here’s your sign.

Tried P&J Waffle, and it did not disappoint! The waffles were super flavorful, and the portions were just right—filling but not over the top. Everything was cooked perfectly, and you can tell they put care into what they serve. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving a good waffle!
