Takeout-style pizza spot with two small high-chair seats. Very clean and feels fairly new inside. Online ordering was smooth with Apple Pay. Menu has a good mix of specialty pies, subs, and Italian sides, and the person at the counter was really nice.
Cheese pizza 6.1/10
Decent overall with a fair price and good-quality cheese. Could’ve used more tomato sauce, a minute longer in the oven, and the cheese flavor was a bit overpowering.
Meatball sub 3.4/10
Looked good and was priced fairly, with a solid sauce. Meatballs tasted off—too much filler, no real seasoning, and barely any meat flavor.
Mozzarella sticks 5.9/10
Fresh and clearly good quality. Pretty standard compared to other places but still tasty.

We’ve been coming to Lazza Pizza for a while now, and Grandma’s Recipe has always been our go-to — it’s rich, hearty, and honestly one of the best pies around. But on our last visit we decided to branch out and try their New Haven style, and we are so glad we did.
If you haven’t tried New Haven style pizza before, it’s a thinner, crispier take that lets the quality of the ingredients really shine. Lazza absolutely nails it. The crust had that perfect char and snap, and every bite was light but packed with flavor. It’s a completely different experience from the Grandma’s Recipe but every bit as good in its own way.
It’s rare to find a pizza place that does one style really well, let alone two. Lazza Pizza manages to pull it off effortlessly. Whether you’re in the mood for something rich and indulgent or light and crispy, they’ve got you covered.
If you haven’t been in yet, do yourself a favor and go. And if you’re a regular like us, step outside your comfort zone and try something new — you won’t regret it. Lazza Pizza continues to be one of our favorite spots, and we can’t wait to go back and work our way through the rest of the menu.

I’m genuinely confused by the many great reviews of Lazza, particularly of its crispy crust. First timers so didn’t know it was take out only. I may have missed that on their website. Take out pizza is never crispy.
I ordered a slice with meatballs and a slice of Sicilian. Though we paid for a slice, we got a cheese slice, which we didn’t realize until we got home. The second pic is me trying to hold the pizza — so far away from crispy idk what to say. It’s currently in a 500 degree oven to see if it recovers.
My grandma was Napolitana. She’s rolling in her grave over this slice.

Tried the Toscana pizza for the first time—amazing flavors on a crisp New Haven-style crust! The homemade gnocchi was also a standout—classic, comforting, and perfectly done. A local gem I’ll definitely return to!

Phenomenal pizza. Definitely one of my favorite pizza places in the area. Recently had their hot honey sausage on a slice of pizza, and it has become my favorite. The staff and service are amazing as well. Extremely friendly. I have only had pizza from here, but I may try something different next time. I will report back with an update when I do. Until then, best pizza by far. Don’t confuse Lazza’s for any other place.

Decided to stop at Lazza Pizza for lunch, and it definitely filled up my appetite for pizza ! Great lunch deal and the service was excellent. The pizza slices are a generous size. Delicious and tasty with the perfect crunch at the crust. I would recommend them to friends and family and if you wanna stop by and get a quick delicious bite this is the place for you!

This is the best pizza in West Cary, authentic Italian with high quality ingredients! This is our weekend favorite. Just make sure to order an hour ahead on weekend evenings as it can get super busy. Deanna is wonderful with great customer service.

Placed an order yesterday for two large pizzas and two orders of wings. Staff are friendly and quick to acknowledge you. Pizza was excellent. It is a good representation of NY style pizza. The wings were bad. Tasted old and dry on the inside and didn’t have any sauce on the outside. Definitely try the pizza. Get your wings elsewhere.
