We just got home from eating here for the 1st time and I must say that we loved it. The owner and I believe his son were there, very friendly people, great service and even conversation. Even the music was great ( 80’s rock ).
I had the chowder bowl and the chowder was delicious, the bowl was done just right, crisp, warm and easy to chew. My husband had a meal with French dip, chowder and coke his sandwich was delicious too. We will definitely be going back. Definitely recommend to everyone especially if you love clam chowder like we do.

The best French dip I’ve ever had ! Their bread was amazing: crispy, fluffy, great tang. The meat was super tender and the au jus not too salty. Food came out quickly despite being busy. Staff was friendly. Honestly the best sandwich spot in Rocklin! Would recommend the French dip and pastrami sandwich.

This has become our absolute favorite sandwich place! The family that operates it are all wonderful and friendly, making it fun to come in. Service is terrific! We love the sourdough rolls they serve. Our favorites so far have been the brisket and the pastrami. We look forward to this becoming a regular stop for us.

I love Sourdough & Co go at least once a week for lunch. Im always happy with there quality of there sandwiches.
I went today for the first time at the Rocklin branch and I have to say, I’m absolutely disappointed. For almost 13 dollars my sandwich weighed nothing there was barely any protein in it. I got the tuna salad like I always do there. They put the thinnest layer of tuna on it I’ve ever seen. I will not be going to this location ever again! Taste like a mustard spread on bread couldn’t taste or see any protein!!!!!

Super fresh food. I had a small Cobb Salad and I couldn’t eat it all. It was crisp and delicious.

Everyone smiling and friendly but too focused on each other. The customer is ALWAYS supposed to come first. It doesn’t take that long to make a sandwich but when you can’t work and talk at the same time it makes it take FOREVER. I watched the lady that made my sandwich finish her conversation while holding the bag with my food in it. I’ll go back ONE MORE TIME to see if the customer service improves. If it doesn’t I’ll be going to Panera instead in the future.

Today I had the pleasure of having a Pastrami Sandwich that included the Wonderful Sourdough Bread at Sourdough & Company. They included an especially generous portion of pastrami meat in the sandwich. I found the Pastrami Sandwich to be most delicious. The staff, the food, the service and the atmosphere were all wonderful. So much so, that I gave 5 stars in every measured category ………………….……

I would like this to be a one-hundred-percent positive review. Because, I would like to see this business do well in our community. ……………………

However, and unfortunately, there is an issue that probably won’t bother many people but it does bother me. I am a 73 year old thin-skinned senior citizen. The interior and the tables look beautiful however, the chairs are hard metal. For me, it’s like sitting on a granite rock. I do not have much padding on my rear or my back, so I need to have a padded chair.

I suggest to management that they consider having the seats and the backs of their chairs thickly padded well. Having uncomfortable chairs gives off the impression they don’t want one to dine at the table but take everything to go or perhaps don’t want people to stay very long. I’m certain that’s not the intention and I’m certain that no one is aware of a situation like mine.

So, I hope someone in management gets the hint of this and gets some padding on the backs and seats of the chairs then providing a comfortable dining experience to go along with the very nice atmosphere and friendliness that one experiences at Sourdough & Company.

An above average sandwich shop. The bread is phenomenal, but the sandwich fillings leave me hungry… and that was after paying for extra beef with my French Dip. If you are a sourdough fanatic, you will like this place; just don’t expect a large portion…

Stopped in for lunch today, first time here, got the Cobb salad and clam chowder. It was excellent. Salad was fresh and crisp and the soup was good as well. This place is right by my office and I will be eating here often. Staff was also awesome, politely greeting when coming in and leaving.

This place is wonderful! Today was my first day eating here and I was pleasantly surprised by the extremely friendly staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The best part, of course, was the delicious sandwich on their great sourdough with their house spread! One of my new favorite spots!
