Love this idea! The space is bright and airy, lots of hang out vibe!
Great space and nice they offer beverages and sweets.
We paid $18 for 4 cinnamon rolls – Sunday – and they were “having trouble” keeping up with demand, as one staff member mentioned. This might explain why the ones we got were underdone. As a customer I don’t mind waiting for quality. I would prefer waiting a couple more minutes than getting items where the middles are uncooked.
Feedback- don’t compromise during a rush – if someone doesn’t or can’t wait, they will come back later maybe versus getting a product that is partially inedible and someone won’t return because they don’t know if it was haste or that is just the product.

We visited for the first on January 2nd for bingo night and had a wonderful time. Our order was a Candy Cane Mocha, a cinnamon roll, and a Strawberry Mango Fruit Freeze, and everything was to our satisfaction. Friendly staff, welcoming environment, and we won free drinks during bingo! We will visit again. Thank you!

I recently started working fully remote and I’ve been looking for place to work with friends. I loved Family Room Coffee and Bake Shop. The coffee is excellent, friendly staff, quiet but engaging atmosphere, and they played so many early-mid 2000’s jams for my millennial heart.

Been obsessed with The Family Room lately! Their coffee is fantastic, especially the espresso. We love their vanilla iced lattes, and one day we tried the coconut flavor and it’s game changer. Don’t get me started on their cinnamon rolls and cheese danish (Ditch the sad Starbucks pastries)
The vibe is perfect for relaxing. Comfy seating, board games, even events! Ordering is simple, quick, and easy on your phone, and they have a cool pickup spot. Super friendly staff and fair prices too. Parking can be tight during peak hours somedays, they cant move mountains… But they’ll definitely make something you love. Definitely check out The Family Room if you’re around Westerville!

Editing January 2026- the place has been absolutely filthy the last 8 or so times I’ve been. I love the late hours as it’s a great place to get together with friends in the evening (especially during the winter), but it’s very clear the place is not cleaned on a daily basis. I shouldn’t have to wipe crumbs off of the couches and look at the filthy floors. I will not be bringing my kids here anymore because it’s so dirty. I also know of multiple friends who no longer come because of the lack of cleaning.
My friend and I met here with our toddlers and loved it! The family room area is spacious and offers a variety of seating. We went on the morning of MLK day and it was pretty full. Somehow it didn’t feel loud or overwhelming at all and we were still able to carry a conversation in the kids corner. I love that the Family Room caters to families in all different stages of life. Even down to the bathroom which has a changing table and a little potty for kiddos! As a young mom who plans to live in this area and have a few more kids, my friends and I will be frequent visitors here for sure! I do agree with what others have said about the prices. They’re pretty high and as someone who avoids paying so much for a single coffee, I’m on a mission to find the cheapest drink on the menu that I enjoy.

I loved my experience. The coffee and cherry cream cheese danish was great 🙂 It really is a good place for the whole family. They have books, board games, toys for different ages, and comfortable seating. Very much recommend! I also got $3 as a coupon for signing up when I ordered online 🙂

I ordered a latte with oat milk. You can taste the espresso and the milk. It’s good and equivalent to most chain cafes.
They also have a lot of other drink choices for those that don’t want coffee/caffeine. They also offer food and snacks.
What sets this place apart is its atmosphere. They have a whole separate room to hang out in. There are many tables and seating options. And there are a bunch of board games.
Service has friendly.

Disappointing experience. My wife was served lukewarm drip coffee. When we asked for a fix, the staff simply steamed the old coffee using the espresso machine rather than brewing a fresh batch. This ruins the flavor and is poor practice for any reputable coffee shop. We won’t be returning.
