Great little place . I read reviews and were all good so I had to try it . Order a few different plates and all were over great taste . Bean super close to my mom’s 9/10 I’ve only gone to one restaurant in LA that beans taste like moss but this place is up there . Highly recommend. Agua de tamarindo and for Mother’s Day they were giving flan at no cost waitress was also nice . Will come back to try other dishes . Also prices are good

Stumbled upon this small, easy-to-miss spot and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and presentation. Despite its modest appearance, the dishes were flavorful, well-portioned, and incredibly affordable. The waitress was very polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside was how loud it was inside—definitely not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet meal. That said, the overall atmosphere still felt warm and inviting. I’d definitely go back for the food and service alone.

There is a new Tesla charger a 2 minute walk from here so we plugged in the car and got breakfast. We had the Chiapaneco and the Garinachas and they were both great! The Chiapaneco is a breakfast dish with a really good thick tortilla/pupusa type bread. The Garinachas had amazing flavor. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Great spot!!

Flor provides a world class tasting experience right here in the hills of the San Fernando Valley.

While it was my first time having Guatemalan food, I can say that it invoked a familiar feeling to my favorite Mexican dishes.

Nonetheless, it just opened up my palate to elevated heights if loving and comfortable food.

It was very small and a bit stuffy. Food was good and plenty for the price. Service was wonderful! Love the pictures and scenery.

Found this spot @antojitostacana a few days ago. On a mission to sample all their food plates.

It’s all so good, Guatemalan food.

Support local businesses. Small business owners have dreams. Lets support each other to reach our goals and dreams.

Ps. Hand made tortillas are so good, some vegetarian options available…

This used to be a Mexican food place, new owners now and food choices are mostly Guatemalan they do have tacos and burritos too!.

I have had breakfast there, dinner plates and the soups are so good. The appetizers are delicious, have tried tostadas, chuchitos, churrasquito, Enchilada Chapina and so much more.

Loved the Atol de Elote, a corn based hot drink.

The place is cozy, food is good. Flor the manager is amazing great personality, attentive and great attitude.

Fun fact, by the way Tacana is the name of one of Guatemala’s volcanoes. Volcano Tacaná is the second highest peak in Central America at 4,060 metres, located in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas of northern Guatemala and southern Mexico.
