I was so disappointed in this restaurant. I felt invisible and forgotten. We went on Valentines Day. The service was so slow. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we arrived a little early. We were sat 40 min after we arrived. It was a set menu that offered a few ala carte items. The food runners made so many mistakes by skipping our table and bringing food to other tables by us. We were mistakenly brought a dessert after waiting 30 minutes with no food. Our 1st course was brought to the table next to us who ordered only ala carte. They were on their 3rd ala carte course before we got our first course. The tables were about 4″ apart and had to be pulled out so you could get to your seat. Another table by us had already turned over with new guests who received the main course shortly after we did. Our waiter Aaron brought water out to the tables around us and topped their glasses off as mine sat empty. Our table was cleared and as we waited for dessert I had to ask for more water. Tables around us have turned over 3x. Our dessert came out and was brought to the table next to us who still had their dinner plates. I saw a total of 5 desserts come out and brought to other tables. 1 runner stood against the wall waiting for the table to be cleared and reset before finally bringing their dessert over to them. As our waiter Aaron looked at our table puzzled as he did all night, I asked if we could just get our dessert. He said its coming, but it still took over another 15 min. This situation could have easily been resolved at anytime by telling the kitchen the next course had to go to our table ASAP since they were all the same. It felt like we were in a comic satire show. We were there 3hrs 15min.

The RO Lounge is simply exquisite; a true gem in Yountville. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a glass (or bottle) of champagne and some incredible bites. The chip & dip, deviled eggs, and oysters are all delightful, especially when paired with caviar.
They offer an impressive selection of champagnes by the glass and bottle, along with a few still wines. We’re especially fond of their restaurant group’s own sparkling wine, Modicum, produced by Schramsberg; a beautiful wine made exclusively for Thomas Keller.
Be sure to check their Instagram or website for nights with live jazz, it adds such a wonderful touch to the already sophisticated atmosphere.

RO Restaurant & Lounge delivers a high-performing dining experience end-to-end. The food is dialed in—beautifully plated, balanced flavors, and thoughtful technique (the mille-feuille dessert and the plated beet dish were standouts). Service was proactive, polished, and paced correctly, and the room has a confident, upscale vibe without feeling stiff. Strong execution across food, service, and atmosphere—would absolutely return.

Our group of 8 joined the outside patio yesterday afternoon. We had just had a full day of wine tasting, walked by and decided to pop in as we were craving caviar and champagne. When we arrived there was three tables seated outside and asked the hostess if we could sit outside. She seemed annoyed, it seemed like we were bothering her and she didn’t want to help us. Finally I asked can you accommodate us, and with attitude she seated us. Us girls sat at one side and our husbands sat at the other side, we didn’t have enough seating, so we tried to move a chair to accommodate, and she got terse with us, but where she was seating us didn’t have enough seats. Eventually we figured it out, and our server came and everything changed. She was lovely, vibrant and beyond helpful. We ordered amazing caviar 100, tuna bowl, a Edd salad Sando. Beyond delicious! The atmosphere was great, patio is excellent and food was delicious! I’m happy we endured the rough beginning with the hostess (which sets the initial tone) because the food and champagne was amazing!

Amazing dinner, high quality ingredients, fine and well presented dishes. Staff is nice and well prepared, we also had the chance to exchange a few words with the Sommelier about Italians and world wines!
Cool atmosphere and vibes, perfect for a romantic dinner but also for a chill evening with friends.
We would come back 100%!

Excellent overall experience. If you like caviar you will be very pleased. Don’t let that stop you if you don’t…. everything we shared was amazing to be honest! Very nice blend of Bouchon and French Laundry integration on a few selections.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting RO and indulging in their dishes including all the bites, caviar, and champagne tasting. The service was attentive and warm throughout the afternoon. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing exquisite flavors and top-tier ingredients. The caviar and champagne pairings were a standout, elevating the entire experience.
Truly a memorable afternoon, and I can’t wait to return!

Very comfortable and chic spot. The wine and cocktails were excellent and pretty reasonably priced. I had a fun ice cream with caviar on top which was yummy. I appreciate the playfulness of the menu.

We had the best meal here and were accommodated in spite of having no reservation. Hunter was welcoming and hospitable as the manager and our server John was so fun and poured great passion into the experience. My favorite dish was the charred cabbage but everything we had was expertly and thoughtfully crafter. Highly recommend.

I’ve wanted to dine here for a while and finally got the chance while in town this summer. We specifically made our reservation during happy hour but when we arrived we were told that they just changed the hours for it a few days before, so we missed it. That was a huge disappointment, there were multiple items that i wanted to try on that menu and our bill ended up way higher than it would’ve been. Everything sounded so delicious but sadly most of it ended up pretty underwhelming. The uni toast should have had more uni for how thick the bread was, the charred cabbage was forgettable, and the toro roll was nothing to write home about. My favorite items ended up being the pork katsu sando, the caviar spread, and the strawberry chouquette dessert. Honestly most items were way overpriced, i’m fine with paying more for great food but this just wasn’t worth it. If i came back i would definitely stick to just their caviar spread and a few drinks. I think happy hour would’ve been better for our group so it’s too bad they changed the hours.
