Amazing service and food. Located on the Diamond Lake Resort inside of the historic lodge. Really great spot to stop off 138 and get some food after a long morning of hiking! Beautiful, serene walk next to the lake after our meal. Will come back.

Diamond Lake Resort Restaurant was a pleasant dining experience. We had seats by the window so we had breakfast with a view! The lake is still partially frozen and it was foggy so we couldn’t see much of Mt. Bailey, though on a clear day, it would be beautiful! We were seated right away and our server was kind and patient as she needed to come back a few times as l wasn’t able to make up my mind. I finally settled on the Diamond Lake Breakfast which had two eggs (served to your order, I chose scrambled) three pieces of bacon, biscuit (or toast), butter, jam and Hashbrowns! Yum! My husband chose the breakfast sandwich, which turned out to be huge! There was also mild , green Tabasco sauce which I made use of and it was very good on my eggs and Hashbrowns. The biscuit was flaky and the jam and butter paired well with it. My husband devoured the breakfast sandwich and thought the sausage patty and the English muffin were particularly good! It was a nice fuel stop on our way down the Hwy to explore some waterfalls. Kept us full well past lunch. We’re looking forward to explore Diamond Lake more in the summer for more amenities instead of the shoulder season.

With every mouthful, pure affection. For a meal, we made a pit break there, and we stayed the night as well. Both the view and the food were great.
All of our demands were met by the waiter, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional.
Additionally, the simple yet varied breakfast options were excellent.

We went here multiple times during our visit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they were all excellent. Food was prepared well, service was outstanding and very accommodating to any requests we had. A big shout out to Pablo who not only gave us great service but also had great recommendations for things to do in the area. Highly recommended!

Upside: Good eggs and bacon and we didn’t have to make it ourselves. Nice view of the lake.
Downside: Service is incredibly slow and always has been. Water for tea was lukewarm. Fruit salad was pretty dismal; mostly unripe tasteless melon.
