AMAZING!!!! I needed gender reveal cupcakes quickly for our event that was happening over the weekend the baker was so willing to help and did them in 15 minutes. I didn’t have to wait to come back the next day which was a blessing cause of the snow storm! We even bought their baked goods and my mom and I were so impressed how delicious and tasty each item we bought was!! When we had the cupcakes at the gender reveal they were moist tasty and so delicious!!! This will now be our go to baker for any event or any sweet treat we want! Don’t hesitate just go!

I had no idea they were so close to me. I have been following Mad Batter on Facebook for a while, just drooling over the photos.
Let me just say, the macarons !!! OMG! Every one I’ve tried elsewhere has been chewy. NOT theirs ! It’s so crisp. And the best part is, the salted caramel has actual caramel in the middle. It’s exactly what a macaron is suppose to be.
On top of that, the customer service was great. Very friendly and professional. I’d highly recommend The Mad Batter Bakery any time.

ADDED: a second picture with a better view of the desserts. Minus one macron… it didn’t make it home lol but I do have to say, the strawberry gooey butter cake is so delicious (it’s the cake pictured in the middle)

Potential Frauds?
I stopped in to grab a few items for my kids. Grabbed a few cookies while noticing some colorful cake balls as well. When I got home I opened the mail to find an advertisement from Sam’s Club offering EXACTLY the same cookies and cake balls. They are clearly buying from Sam’s Club and reselling, no way it is a coincidence that it is an exact match (See attached pictures).

Ordered a small birthday cake for my son about two or three days before pickup. This was about a week before Halloween because I asked for a Halloween cake with the colors being purple, orange, and black. The owner said she could do everything I asked, but she was pushing back on black frosting on my toddler’s cake already over the phone. I told her I wanted black on the cake and it was fine because it’s not like he’s going to have a lot of cake he’s only turning three. I told her I wanted little ghosts and bats maybe pumpkins decorated in frosting. She completely agreed to everything because it was a small cake. I go to pick up and the cake had blue on it and it looked nothing like Halloween. I paid because I felt bad, but then immediately called back and said I’d like to come back and get it refunded because it’s nothing like I wanted. They said they don’t normally do refunds but they did since it was right after I bought it, but when I arrived they said the owner wanted to talk to me and handed me their landline phone to talk to her. This was already weird, but I explained to her that blue was on the cake and it looks nothing like I asked for. She said that I never said not to put blue and I only gave her two or three days to make the cake. I said to her that I only told her three colors none of which were blue because she confirmed on the phone, and that if she couldn’t make the cake all she had to do was say so on the phone and that would have been fine. However, she said she could and confirmed everything. She started arguing and getting loud on the phone out of nowhere when I was explaining to her all she had to do was say she couldn’t and so I just hung up their landline on her, and walked out. I left with my refund, but that was the rudest/weirdest experience I’ve ever had talking to an owner about a complaint and she obviously never accepts that she’s in the wrong over half of these reviews on here about her bakery. This was over a month ago but I still decided to put my experience on here for everyone to see how she talks to people.

We have been looking for a new dessert and bakery spot and boom we found it! From the time we walked in the door, we were impressed with everything from their selection to the awesome Alice in Wonderland decorations throughout the store. I am not a huge dessert person but this place was so good, we went back the next day to get more! The chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter cookie were soft and very flavorful! The Reese’s cup cupcake was amazing. It was very rich but not overwhelming to where it made your stomach hurt. It was just right. Out of everything that we got though, the mango passion fruit cupcake exceeded all expectations. From the softness of the cupcake batter to the deliciousness of the mango and passion fruit, this is my favorite cupcake I think I have ever had. I don’t even know if you would call it icing on top because the texture and flavor is perfect. I am not an icing guy but there wasn’t any left in the box when I was done. The girl working at the counter was very nice and very knowledgeable about all their desserts. She patiently explained everything that was in there because we kept asking questions lol. It was a really fun experience and if you want really good dessert after dinner you have to give the Mad Batter Bakery a try!
