As good tasting and variety as any conventional sit down Mexican restaurant in the area, but cheaper prices because you order at the counter and clean up after yourself. Generous portions. Pleasant casual outdoor or semi-outdoor atmosphere. Family friendly, one group had their dog, very chill place.

The intriguing name made us stop here. Great authentic food (the corn tortillas are so good), live music, plenty of seating, self serve (hence the 4 stars for service as it wasn’t entirely applicable). The crowd is diverse: we were commenting at the number of fancy expensive luxury tourist cars in the parking lot alongside alongside beat up trucks. You know it’s good when local Latinos dine here!

Food was delicious. As we were finishing our food, a young man began pouring a cleaning liquid all over the floor around us and other customers. It was very strong, and my husband could not finish his food. The liquid was just left there and not cleaned up while we were there.

Stopped in for dinner and food was amazing. It was wasn’t cheap food truck food but def worth the $. Got the fiesta quesadilla and the shrimp was so fresh. The red sauce that came with it was the hottest sauce I’ve ever had omg so thankful I didn’t pour it all over the steak burrito was covered in white sauce with fries (the good crispy ones). The fiesta fajitas with the green sauce were delicious. Best Mexican food I’ve probably had!

Having been born and living in the Southwestern United States for the first 50 years of my life meant consuming some of the best Mexican foods in the country (including Mexico) throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and California. California’s is good, reliable versions of that food with many of the staples presented in a quasi food truck, street side, festive atmosphere that could be located in just about any of those places. They have morphed what started out as a standard food truck experience into a much larger venue that includes tables, booths, a stage and live music performances creating a variety of entertainment and food experiences that draws in lots of folks to eat, drink, and listen to music. Very festive and the owners have been a great addition to the area!

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great music! Some of the best and most authentic Mexican cuisine that I have ever had. Love how the location is discrete and the laid back vibe. These are the best Quesabirrias I’ve ever had! Would definitely making a stop here after a good day in the mountains!

This place is great. Super casual, quick service, good food. A little salsa bar with great flavors. One of the only good places to eat in the nearby area.

EXCELLENT, AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Expect to pay $10 to $20. Cheap service isn’t good. Good service isn’t cheap. This is a growing family business that I’m expecting great things from. The next closest edible restaurant is 30 minutes away… Stop here dude!

I feel like I’ve been transported to another country with laid back beach vibes off the beaten path in Salem! I’m from San Diego. I thought the tacos I ordered (Pastor, Carne, Shrimp) were authentic. No overpowering tex-mex taco spice blend here. Just meat, salt, crisp grill char, and fat. With a squeeze of fresh lime and red or green hot sauce. Takes me back! I think everything tastes better outside so I love the venue. Clean and spacious. Ample seating and parking. I was really tempted to belly up to the bar for a margarita. Next time! The service was super friendly and helpful. They gave my baby a balloon and an extra plate. Definitely coming back! Thanks!

What a find! The food was beyond delicious. I had a beef burrito with fries. My husband had a chicken burrito with fries. They both were absolutely yummy! It was outside, busy and noisy. For a food truck in the mountains? It was a wonderful surprise – and a meal there – is a complete do-it-again when we make it back that way!
