The service is great and they brought the food quickly. The area reminded me of Japan. All of the food is really good. The dragon roll is a must try, it has the most perfect amount of sweet and savory flavor. The matcha ice cream is so creamy & delicious. The service top-notch, definitely coming back!

I don’t even know where begin. I was the only person there at 6:30 on a Friday night (red flag). The waitress was eating at the bar, tells me to sit anywhere. She points to a qr code to see the menu and order. I don’t see her again for a half an hour with my meal. Zero interest on the food or customer. Is this a front for an illegal business? The food was ok. The sushi was too warm for me. The soba was decent.

Very cool evening spot to get dinner. The bar has some very interesting specialty drinks and Paul (our server) was super engaging. we really enjoyed his suggestions of the things we shouldn’t miss. Everything was really good. We had the porkbelly which was one of the prime recommendations. The tiramisu was a hit after dinner too.

Ordered a few different dishes and everything was very tasty and delicious. The food however took over an hour and half to show up. The staff were super apologetic and offered us a free item plus some edamame. Wish I could have ordered more but was told that there is only one person in the kitchen doing sushi and almost everyone in the restaurant is ordering sushi so it will take a long time to get the order.

Place is ok. Their house roll is fricken fantastic. Other two rolls were meh. My drink tastes like it was just soda water. Didn’t have the mint in it. Watched a really rich dude come in, and wait to be seated for several minutes. Went over to the bartender to ask where he should go. The bartender just shrugged his shoulders, dude left. You could see the girl bartenders underwear through her pants, kinda gross. There’s more in the virtual menu than the hand one.

We were visiting for ASU parent weekend and found this place walking by. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The food is authentic and beyond impressive. We only stopped to grab a quick bite and ended up staying for a full meal. Our server, Griffin, was one of the friendliest and best servers we’ve ever had. Because it is attached to a hotel, we weren’t sure what to expect, and this is like a secret hidden gem. We will definitely be back every time we come visit our SonShine.

Gorgeous venue for an evening dinner in downtown Phoenix. I got the Eggplant Kabayaki, Spicy Shoyu Ramen, Assorted Nigiri Platter, and Honey Toast. The eggplant dish was the perfect balance of smokey, savory, and sweet. It paired perfectly with the rice it was served with. As for the ramen: it was a bit underwhelming. While the quality of the pork chashu was pretty good, the cuts were small and the broth lacked a depth of flavor. However, as far as Arizona ramen joints go, this is definitely in the upper 10% of AZ ramen. The assorted nigiri on the other hand, was delicious. Each piece tasted fresh & unique and was complimented by an individual garnish, so every bite was a new experience. Lastly, the honey toast was a bit too bread-y. I think it needed more honey and/or ice cream to offset the dryness. But the flavors themselves were good. Overall, the menu had some hard hitters and some slightly above average food. I definitely recommend the eggplant and nigiri for future diners.

Mid afternoon slightly packed but smiles all around and a gorgeous ceiling view of umbrellas. My server Paul was very kind to my Gf and me and gave us a little bit of a wait but made up for it with his personality the food is very good the ramen isnt a 10 but a very good 7 in my book the apps are where it’s at here and the sushi is delicious.
