Wild Hare Cider is a decent place to visit and the ciders are okay. The spicy flavors were the best. The bartender suggested a spicy pina colada which is a blend of two flavors. It was the best one.
I like that you can take your dog inside, especially if the weather is bad.
Good is an issue. They are supposed to begin serving food at 5pm. I was excited because I got there just before 5. By 530pm no one had shown up to prepare the food. They had decent vegan options so I was really disappointed.

We stopped in here on a Sunday mid-afternoon to try the cider while traveling in the area. I happened to find it in the map after we toured the old jail museum. The property is adjacent to a walking trail which I didn’t know about but it looked like a nice place for a walk.
We were greeted immediately by the bartender and we ordered a cider flight to share. We didn’t order any food but I overheard someone say they have charcuterie trays they serve in pizza boxes and that sounded cool. The cider was ok – my favorite was Bogey. They weren’t bad at all, just not as crisp and flavorful as some others I have had. The bartender was friendly and personable. She seemed to know everyone else in there, but that may just be her welcoming personality. The atmosphere was laid back and easygoing. There were arcade style games in one of the rooms – claw machine, air hockey, basketball. Prices were comparable to other cideries we have been to. It looks like they do some cool upcoming events – you can probably find info on the website.

Wild Hare is our go to for cider. The cider here is not sweet. It has complex flavors and natural ingredients. Best of all it’s made locally with heritage Virginia apples. The employees are super nice people and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
Food is available and it has always been very good. Live music, Trivia, and other entertainment happens daily. Wild Hare is a great neighborhood location to visit, relax, and enjoy a delicious cider.
We tried the recently introduced ‘Revel’ and it was very tasty. Honestly I have never had a cider here that I did not enjoy.

From a guy that tried cider in Belgium in 1974, this stuff is as close to it anywhere
The dry is incredible with a cigar, outside.
A perfect afternoon with a cigar outside and really cool at night.
You gotta go, the pepperoni rolls are incredible. I’ve not tried the rest of the menu, but man, they are incredible.

Wild Hare was a true oasis on Christmas Day. Despite the holiday, they welcomed us with open arms. Our bartender was exceptionally warm and friendly, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cider was absolutely delicious, and we loved that they’re dog-friendly too—such a thoughtful touch! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

My friends and stopped by the Wild Hare Cider Pub and Garden while walking around downtown Warrenton. We received great service while we were there. We each got a flight of cider. They had a food vendor in the garden that day so we also ordered some biscuit sandwiches. The reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is because we didn’t love the cider. There was only one that we would want to order more of. We are big cider fans and this just wasn’t for us. Cute atmosphere though and good service.

I have never been to a brewery and not want to finish my drink until I visited here. There is something wrong with either the taps or the glasses because all of the drinks I and my friends ordered had a fowl mildewy taste.
Beautiful location with terrible drinks.

Cider tasted like soap… We think the glasses were not properly rinsed after cleaning or the cider itself was old. Only one staff member working midday on a Saturday, who was pleasant but it still took 10 minutes to be served.

Wild Hare at the Grainery is, BY FAR, the best place in Warrenton. Great cider and the best staff, period! The manager, Dr. Sarah (yes a real PhD), has created an amazing community watering hole that is accepting of everyone. Sara and Stern are also great and very community oriented (and I intentionally put Sara before Stern). Highly recommend Wild Hare to anyone that wants good food, drinks and an even better atmosphere.

We have been customers of the warrenton wild hare since they were at the townhouse off main street and we absolutely LOVE their new location! All the bartenders are kind but Kim
goes out of her way to make sure we are happy EVERYTIME we see her. They have live music every Friday/Saturday and their food is amazing. I recommend everyone to try their breakfast tacos with their homemade sauce!( I attached a pic I almost forgot to take because of how good they are) They have a new brunch menu on sundays that is so good. I recommend everyone to try their cider at least once if not stop by for their live music and get some food. Ask for Kim!
