Really good sandwich place. The thin focaccia bread that is toasted crispy makes incredible sandwiches. The pastrami with eggplant is my favorite. The pistachio not so much (personal taste – nothing wrong with the sandwich – too creamy for me). Cakes looks amazing. Small seating area makes for a very cozy place.

After visiting Florence Italy I fell in love with the Focaccia sandwiches. My sons told about this place. So I came here enthusiastically to experience that taste and food. Unfortunately it wasn’t even close. The bread was stale and I think having beef pastrami was a mistake. It was overpowering the taste of other ingredients.
The service was slow and very impersonal. That kind of service where you feel, the look of the employees gives you the impression of why are you here. But they smile right before you are about to pay and click on the tip button.
The seating area is very small.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gusto Mio!
The pizza is excellent especially the Hot Honey, which is outstanding. The Nonna focaccia is beyond words, truly unforgettable. And the meatballs? Hands down the best I’ve ever had.
Authentic flavors, high quality ingredients, and food made with real passion. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

Quick stop. Great location but very busy with all the restaurants around. Not enough room for a big party but a great spot to get a quick bite. I ordered a slice of Margherita and a couple slices of Salsiccia. Very reminiscent of pizzas you would get in Italy. Salsiccia was probably my favorite so far. Also ordered slices of limoncello cake and the pistachio cake. They were really tasty and surprisingly light. I will be visiting often to try the focaccia and more pizza and cake. I’ll be back for an update but will definitely recommend eating here.

First time here and Ill be back again. Reminds me of All’Antico viniao, with Florentine style sandwitches, italian style pizzas and traditional italian desserts.
The sandwitches and simple pizza scratched my itch for traditional Italian food. My only critiques were that the sandwitches were a little messy (mostly due to oil on the bread) and I dont think I would recommend the prochetta because there was not enough meat in my sandwitch.

Excellent sandwiches. I’ve tried the Toscana and IL Re. Both were great. The focaccia bread was so fresh and had a perfect crunch. I could tell this is the type of place where no matter what you order, you can’t go wrong. I will for sure be back to test this theory.

FANTASTIC place!!!! The sandwiches are SO delicious. The focaccia bread was crispy but bready, felt like the perfect combination and tasted so fresh. I got the Porcetta sandwich, and the Nduja spread and eggplant and mozzarella were just fantastic. There are so many great sandwich options too. Even picked up a tiramisu! Very reasonable prices for the quality and size of the sandwich – I really can’t say enough positive things about this new place. It’s wonderful please check them out! And look at my pictures for proof!

An unforgettable taste of Italy right in Walnut Creek!

I had the GUSTOSA focaccia sandwich, and calling it one of the most incredible sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life is an understatement. The combination of stracciatella, prosciutto, arugula, and truffle cream was absolute perfection every bite melted in my mouth. Each ingredient balanced beautifully with the others, creating the perfect harmony of flavors.

The focaccia itself was perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside and it didn’t leave me feeling bloated, which is rare! It’s probably because their flour and ingredients are all flown straight from Italy.

I also had the tiramisu, which was mind-blowing light, creamy, and rich in flavor, easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted.

The atmosphere is ideal whether you’re meeting friends or just stopping by to enjoy great food while getting some work done. The staff was warm, inviting, and incredibly kind always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The whole experience truly felt like a little slice of Naples in downtown Walnut Creek

Convenient to find in DTWC. It’s low key and the pizza and sandwiches were lovely. Fresh ingredients and the desserts looked great. Affordable wines to match your meal. Parking is a little tough if you go when it’s busy. It’s all metered. Not a lot of tables so it’s mostly a quick bite spot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible!

I recently visited Gusto Mio, and I can confidently say it’s the best focaccia I’ve ever had! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and a friendly staff that clearly loves what they do.

The focaccia is simply perfection — golden, fluffy, and crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can taste the quality ingredients and the care put into every bite. Whether you try the classic rosemary and sea salt, the tomato and mozzarella, or one of their creative seasonal specials, every piece is bursting with flavor.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — perfect for a quick bite, a casual lunch, or grabbing a few slices to take home. Everything feels authentic, fresh, and made with passion.

Gusto Mio has turned something simple into something extraordinary. If you love good food and genuine Italian flavor, this place is a must-visit. I’m already planning my next trip back! ❤️
