Coos Brewing Company in Colebrook, NH for a couple pints & a flight of that northern New Hampshire goodness. I was about as far north as you go in New Hampshire & could smell the poutine from across the border in (blame) Canada. Coos Brewing Company sits a minute or two from the Vermont border as well with my GPS taking me through a really cool covered bridge, but also roads I felt that if I broke down on I would disappear without a trace. This is one brewery I’m definitely happy to have checked off my bucket list though. I’ve been drinking them for five years or more now whenever I see something new available at my local beer store. The menu here was varied in styles including a couple wheat beers, a DIPA, NEIPA’s, pale ale, saison & a lager. I covered as much ground as I could so let’s get to it. ☘☘
I started off with a pint of the GOOD BEER Lager, a crisp & clean good beer for sure. I then grabbed a flight of four starting with a 4oz of the SAISONADE Farmhouse Ale which was delicious & had the perfect amount of tartness & lemon flavor. My second taster was the RASPBERRY PUCKERBRUSH Sour, again another winner & very drinkable for summer. The third 4oz pour FIFTH LAKE Pale Ale was good & dank with grapefruit on the finish. The last taster was the WOODLAND WIT Wheat Beer, a good above average wit that would be great in a pint with a orange. For my last beer I scooped a pint of the IN THE PATH OF TOTALITY IPA, which was everything you could ask for from a American IPA. ☀️☘
The space is fairly large with the brewery being connected to the big taproom with plenty of tables, some couches & bar seating. There is a kitchen here, but I was saving my appetite for later in the day. Plenty of beer to go here for home or tastings with friends. The service was excellent & our bartender knew her stuff beer wise which is always refreshing. They have a flight board that can carry six beers, with two of those you can cover the tap list of twelve here. Definitely worth the three hour trip from southern NH, check it out, cheers! ✌♥️

The beer was good. The staff was friendly. The views were very nice. It feels like a brewery. It would be nice to have something feel different to make it stand out, but overall, I would definitely go here again would recommend.

UPDATE to my previous review, as I realize it has been a few years and things have CHANGED… for the best!
Coos Brewing has had food for a few years (at least) now. They have a creative, season and ever changing menu that is a breath of fresh air in a land of typical American bar food (though, no shade to that since it does have its time and place!) Their little pizzas are fantastic, and this is coming from a discerninf East Coast tri state girl where there’s a pizzeria on every corner. Theres usually also nachos (with a ton of cilantro, yes please!), burritos, bowls, bahn mi, hot dogs in summer, etc. All amazing.
Their beer is still great… a Dooryard is my go to, but be sure to have a Cohos Trail if its on tap! Since they now serve food, there are no longer the same limitations as previously. You can hang out witb your friends, play games, play pool on the new table, or listen to live music.
Service is always prompt and friendly.
Dogs are only allowed outside, but its a nice are with tables and sail shades in the shadow of a mountain.
It’s on the ATV and Snowmobile trails, so be sure to check it out!!!

We love this place. We’ve been huge fans of Coos Brewing since their first location. If you like NEIPAs, you’ll love their signature Dooryard and Chockoblock. I also am a big fan of the Puckerbrush when I want something a little different.
Just be aware, NH has different brewery rules than other states. So when you’re there, you’re allowed to order a flight (my go-to) or have a pint. They also have crowlers, growlers, and 4-packs to go. This won’t be an all day brewery event, but it’s a great pitstop to support a local business and enjoy great beer at the same time.
You’re also able to have pints of their beers at local establishments like Black Bear Tavern (Colebrook) and Buck Rub Pub (Pittsburg).
I enjoy the simple aesthetic, and their art (on the can and soon to be on the entrance wall) is second to none by a local artist.

Great brewery in a happy location on the bank of the Connecticut River. Great beers in a variety of styles. We have had IPAs, pale ales, layers, brown ales and lagers. All excellent!
They are very dog friendly outside. The indoor seating area is sleek and very clean. The food is ambitious and excellent. Eat some!

Excellent beers, good changing selection, very tasty food. Friendly and helpful staff & owner. We are regular visitors. Not fancy space- Basic clean brew house, picnic table or couch living room style seating. Outdoor seating available in good weather. Four packs to go as well. Worth a visit- you’ll be happy you did.
