I just tried the sweets subsidiary of this restaurant (located in DonaJi’s) -Oh La La crepe- and it’s very delicious. I had a crepe with strawberries, Nutella and pecans, it’s was good, not overly sweet for my taste either. I also had a matcha strawberry and although I’m not a fan of matcha; it was pretty good. They also welcomed my dog and I, very kind people and will chat if they have time. I took fresas con crema to go with churro toppings and it was also very good. My only complaint is the straw was too think so the strawberries were getting stuck in the straw making it hard to drink. In total, it was $26!

Donajis is a little hidden gem in Balchsprings! The food is so fresh and it’s authentic Mexican food! The owner and staff are so nice. They make you feel so welcomed and like family. I’ve recommended this restaurant to many of my family and friends and they’ve all loved it! 10/10 would recommend the flautas!! My family and I have never gotten a dish from here that we didn’t like. Everything is delicious. Itzya was our waitress, she was so professional and funny! She really made our time there enjoyable. If I could go every week I would!!

The food was great actually tasted like home cooked Mexican food. The rice was on point. The Baja tacos were crunchy and full of veggies, the sopes of steak were so good. And the horchata drink was good and refreshing. The milanessa was crispy and soft at the same time, every thing was awesome. The inside decor was pretty and clean, the only thing I recommend is that the guy attending smiles from the start and ups his mood. Other than that great place to eat. I recommend

Wow such a gem!! We went in Friday night for karaoke and lotteria .. drink specials 7-9 and the food is deliciously authentic! The meatball soup is to die for! The carafe is mango water omg!!! If you come out today you get an extra treat sausage and turkey legs from Coach T !

We had Menudo and birria taco plate, for the kids chiken tenders and quesadilla plate. We had a jarra de agua Fresca, the mango one is very good.
Dessert is great, try the fresas con crema!

They have a waiter (young man) who is very rude. The rest of the staff is good, but this waiter who is a young man should not be working there, he has absolutely no customer service skills, and we have been to this restaurant 4 times and have had the same experience with him. He does not get your order right. I asked for the creamer for my coffee and he would not give it to me so after asking multiple times, I went up to the counter and asked for creamer, he turned around and almost threw it to me saying “here take it!” In a very rude tone.
