Lots of room to hang out with friends. Several pool tables for use at an hourly rate (no annoying coin operated tables). Nice quiet dive with consistently friendly workers and patrons. Lots of TVs all over so it’s a great spot to watch sports. Pretty much my go-to spot to have a few drinks with friends and talk since it’s not super loud. Some negatives are that it is cash only and has no food.

Nice dark and friendly “Corner type Tavern”. It looks small when you arrive but 25 steps in the place opens up into a very large open game parlor. 4-5 pool tables and several boar bristle and electronic dart boards. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Nice for a few after work and decent traffic even later in the evening.

I had booked a party at another local bar for about 50 people. That bar double booked and did not have space for us. After panicking I decided to call Murphys to see if they had space. The owners were so wonderful and welcoming. It was last minute and they welcomed us with open arms.
About 50 people piled in there with less than a 15 minute notice with all of the food, cake, decorations and snacks. The owner came in and asked if there was anything she could do to help. They only had one bartender and were so efficient and welcoming to us. The owner hopped behind the bar and did anything that she could to help the last minute influx in people. She checked on us throughout the night and let us take over the back room for the entire night. It turned into an absolutely wonderful and successful party.
I will always remember the graciousness of the owners and staff and how they truly saved the day in a very unfortunate and stressful situation. They earned the loyalty of so many more customers because of their warm accommodations. We will be back as much as possible! Thank you!!!!

Great place to meet people, have a few drinks, popcorn or to play darts or pool. Nice crowd frequents here, no smoking inside and it’s quite big too. Also has a jukebox so you can play music you like!

We stopped in for a quick drink while waiting for a table next door for dinner. Our infant child was quite hungry, and therefore quite fussy. Then patrons at this quiet spot could not have been nicer, and over the course of the next twenty minutes we were made to feel like family. Everyone waved a cheery good bye, elating us and our child. Thanks!

This place is a hidden gem! It only gets 4 stars because the liquor selection is limited. There is tons of space, the people are of yinzer quality, and the prices are affordable. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to go back to Murphys to play pool or darts and watch a game.

Murphy’s is wonderful. My wife and I have been coming here for years. The staff are always great and the drinks are well priced. Definitely check it out. As a quick follow-up to some of the really poor reviews, they dont have food but YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN. Don’t be swayed by snobby yinzers(oxymoron).
