After a good recommendation from a coworker my wife and i came to try their Thursday chicken and ribs special.
The ribs were fantastic, and the chicken was crisp and tasty. Well worth the drive from Mason City.
Our waitress/bartender (Bailey) was friendly and on top of it. I asked for a mixed drink that she wasnt sure she could make, and it turned out she made it perfect. (Kinda cute too which was a plus).

Nice little bar & grill not far from the Winnebago Industries where we were staying. They served an all you can eat bbq ribs and chicken that was absolutely delicious at a great price! Dinner was okay for family atmosphere.
Definitely recommend and will return!

Decor I loved. With a group of 10. All said the loved the food. Drinks prices were great. Unfortunately appeared all the other tables arrived the same time as we did. So service was very slow. Still had a great evening out.

Visited Mitchell’s for the first time tonight and very disappointed in service. The restaurant was not crowded but it took a long time to get our meals. The tipping point came as we watched as people at the 2 booths beside us, who came in well after we did, get served their appetizer & entre. I then went up to the cash register to pay our drink tab & leave but come to find out our meals were sitting in the kitchen. We questioned the waitress about the situation and she just wanted to argue.
Got the feeling that “locals” are taken care of at the expense of new visitors.

We ate here last summer when we were visiting my Brother and Sister In-law that live in Forest City. We went on Friday night and met more family. We went on a Friday night and had the all you can eat fish, it was great, as well as the service.Can’t wait to go again this summer
