The atmosphere was great and is dia de los muertos themed! The food is very unique from what I’ve had in El Paso, and it was very delicious! I especially enjoyed the “El Camarón” which were shrimp tacos. The lavender milkshake is so refreshing while the mazapan milkshake is to die for and both are very huge servings; which could be great for two! Definitely recommend!

We happened to stumble upon this lovely establishment when we attended the Fiesta Latina event downtown. The food trucks all looked and smelled amazing but there was just something special and intriguing about Corazon and we just had to try it. My family and I were wondering if they were open and a patron on the way out was at the door when we were standing there. We asked her if they were still open and she said “they are and it’s so good!” We entered right away.
Immediately when walking in, we were greeted and it felt very welcoming. They showed us to our table right away. The decor is unique in the most charming way. I loved the decor almost as much as I loved the food.
Every table had a vela (Hispanic candles in the tall jar like container), and placemats that resemble Loteria (Mexican Bingo) characters/day of the dead type decor. I’m all for it. It was colorful and inviting.
My kids ordered a grilled cheese with fries and a lemonade (it’s not on the menu but they were gracious enough to accommodate my kids), my husband ordered El Borracho burger, we ordered El Nopal for the appetizer, and I had La Muerte salad.
The grilled cheese and fries were quite tasty (I stole a bite and some fries from my younger kid’s plate lol). The burger smelled amazing. I personally thought the heart symbol on the top bun was such a nice touch. They even ask you how you want your burger cooked. We’ve been to a few burger places and we don’t get asked that very often so it was a pleasant surprise. The appetizer was delicious! It was my first time having fried nopales. It had a lemony type of taste and they come with two sauces. One sauce is a prickly pear sauce and the other is a house made ranch. Both delicious!
Now for my salad….let me start by saying that I almost didn’t want to eat it because it was so beautiful. The picture doesn’t do it justice. This was my very first time eating rose petals!
My salad had rose petals, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, mixed greens, feta, and a rose petal vinaigrette!!!! It was heavenly!!!! I didn’t know rose petals were edible and so delicious in a salad. I was practically licking my bowl when I finished and partially sad because I finished it lol. The ladies waiting on us were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive and kind. My kids felt at home there too. I was too full to eat anything else but next time, I’m going for the desserts! I saw the fried cream at the table across from us and it looked amazing. The food did not disappoint! It was delicious and you could definitely taste the love!

I highly recommend this place!

Everything about my experience here was great. Food was amazing, decoration had me feeling right at home and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I order their award winning “El corazon”. You are able to taste the Chef’s passionate aura through every dish that would come to our table. Not only are the dishes aesthetically pleasing, but they taste just as delicious as they look. We ordered their churro waffle with fresh berries for dessert and it was the cherry on top to a perfect meal. I will definitely be returning to try everything on the menu!

Cute little spot downtown! The food was so good, with a different take on your traditional food, by the ingredients and the little touches of presentation. It’s a must try!

New business. Liked the front room/ atmosphere. Food is unique. Got the green chili appetizer. An upscale cheese stick w green chili. Good. Also got the pasta. Unique flavor, large quantity, also good. And the borracho burger. Chorizo is mixed into patty, get it medium well or well done. Good flavors, good price. Shrimp has tails on it, need to pick off before eating. And fried ice cream- very good.

The tea was horrible no flavor taste like fridge water. The waiter was everywhere and took a long time to take our order. The food was not that good. I would not come back here again but I think they can do better. The card machine also wasnt working so we had to pay through paypal. Honestly wasnt what i was expecting. We left very unsatisfied

We found our way here after walking around downtown and were very pleasantly surprised! I do wish there were more vegan/vegetarian options other than salad but everything we had was delicious. Looking forward to trying more!
