A good restaurant that looks out to the sea. It’s very reasonable, my wife had Oyster for starters followed by Mussels as main couse. She loved them both. For me, I finally gave in and tried this local Soufflet Omelette of Mont Saint-Michel, it was pretty good. To end we had the tart with cream, also nice. The wine was Chateau de Pennautier 2021, also complimented our respective dinners.

Very good food! The negative reviews are completely unjustified—the service and food were truly amazing.
We made a lunch reservation for dinner, and it turned out to be a great decision. By 8 PM, there was a line of people waiting for a table. They had reserved a lovely table for us by the window, and the view was stunning.
We ordered the steaks, a Merlot, and the cheese plate. Everything was exceptionally good—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The bathrooms could use a bit of renovation, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

A very pleasant place with excellent food.

The baked Camembert served in bread is an absolute masterpiece — perfectly melted, aromatic, with a crispy bread crust. A must-try dish.

The mussels in cream sauce are delicious: tender, rich, and well balanced.

The wine is also worth mentioning — €15 for 1 liter, which is a very good deal and great value for money.

I would gladly come back again.

We were flagging a little after wandering around the Abbey and decided to stop in on the off chance of some lunch. We timed it perfectly and were seated at table 44 looking out over the sands. Within 10 minutes the restaurant was packed and with a waiting queue. The service was quick, friendly and didn’t make us feel ridiculous for our lack of French skills, they adapted to us and we appreciated it. The menu was somewhat limited in variety compared to many restaurants back home, but what was on offer was delicious and we tried savoury pancakes. Be careful about ordering drinks as we felt this was a little pricey at €6 for a coke, but we were on Mont St Michel so should really expect a little price for the venue! Overall, it was a delicious and enjoyable experience with great food, super view and incredible service!

Located in a scenic spot with a beautiful view of the bay.

the taste was just okay. There wasn’t anything particularly memorable or standout on the menu, but it was acceptable for a casual meal.

What detracted from the experience more noticeably was the service. The staff appeared quite tired and disengaged.

Another area that could use attention is cleanliness. The dining area, while not in poor condition, still showed signs that more consistent and detailed cleaning would improve the overall ambiance. Clean tables, polished glassware, and tidier surroundings are essential in creating a comfortable and trustworthy environment for guests.

We were wandering around the Mont and looking at the various restaurants and the menu appealed to us and it had a spectacular view of the sea! We were served very promptly by a lovely waiter who put up with our fumbling French and kindly spoke to us in English. Our food arrived soon after and was absolutely Delicious! The local specialty of omelettes was incredible! Would definitely recommend a visit! The couple at the next table had the mussels and said they were superb!

The restaurant is located in the heart of Saint-Michel and features a lovely terrace. Although we had no reservation, the staff helped us find a great table with a view. The team was friendly and had a good sense of humor. The food was enjoyable, and the wine was excellent—I even purchased a bottle following the waiter’s recommendation. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

Les Terrasses de la Baie is a beautiful seaside gem. I ordered the house omelette with bacon, fries, and a small salad — everything was fresh, tasty, and just the right amount. The price was also very reasonable for the quality and setting.

The service was excellent: warm, fast, and attentive from the moment I arrived.

What truly makes this place special is the atmosphere. With both doors open, there’s a gentle cross breeze that keeps the space cool and relaxed. The natural light fills the room, and the view is absolutely stunning — perfect for enjoying a glass of champagne while watching the tide rise or fall under a blue sky.

Charming place where everything feels just right.

I had the pleasure of dining at “LES TERRASSES DE LA BAIE” and overall, the experience was quite enjoyable. The brochette saumon cabillaud riz légumes and agneau curry riz were both excellent, with well-prepared proteins and flavorful accompaniments. The salmon and cod were particularly outstanding, while the lamb was exquisitely paired with its vegetables.

However, there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience:
1. Rice Preparation – The rice lacked flavor, was under-seasoned, and had a slightly raw texture. A bit more seasoning and proper cooking would elevate the dish significantly.
2. Fries Quality – While frozen fries can still be enjoyable, these were overly hard and lacked sufficient seasoning. A slight adjustment in preparation and seasoning would improve their texture and taste.
3. Tiramisu Caramel – This dessert did not resemble a traditional tiramisu, instead presenting more as a combination of cracker crumbs, caramel, and cream. A closer adherence to classic tiramisu elements would better meet expectations.

Despite these minor critiques, the main courses were truly exceptional. Service was also a highlight of the experience—Louis, in particular, stood out with his engaging personality, warm smile, and ability to create a lively atmosphere. His charisma and attentiveness made a lasting impression. The rest of the staff was equally attentive and professional, contributing to a welcoming environment.

Overall, I would rate my experience 7/10, and I would consider returning, largely due to the excellent service and well-executed main courses.
