Wonderfull first experience here last night to celebrate a birthday. The food was very good and noticeable high quality ingredients. Our server Sarah was wonderful and helpful, very professional and efficient. The GM JT* was also incredibly kind and generous. The only thing that I found slightly off, was the Anago which was VERY smokey and pretty firm BUT still not bad. Im assuming they use a heavy ammount of dashi in their kabayaki sauce which was a unique change. I look forward to returning when the Omakase dinners start, I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Kuro Sushi was an absolute treat from start to finish. The ambiance is inviting and relaxing, the restaurant is spotless, and the service is genuinely attentive and welcoming. Every dish was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared with top notch ingredients you can really taste in every bite. You can tell the chef takes pride in the details. And don’t skip dessert. swanky hip sushi place with tables outside and in. The indoors is very modern with music. The waitstaff is outstanding and attentive. The food is impeccably fresh and absolutely delicious! Oftentimes we will get a roll that tastes like any other roll and rather bland or similar in flavor, these were power packed with unique combinations and flavors, we tried the Go, the Roku, and the Shi I think each were delicious, the pho was a tremendous hit (not fatty), the brussels sprouts were so delicious we didn’t get a pic until we were almost done – and great to share with the table, the sashimi was delicious! Service is fast. Overall a winner! We will definitely be back to enjoy again. Thank you!

It was my Aunts Bday, and Kuro didn’t dissapoint. Suzy was super nice and attentive. Food was so fresh and great. Got to Pho. Chef Daniel stopped by the table several times to make sure everything was ok, and JT was kind an funny with his humor. Great Job Kuro team for making a special night for my aunt. Till next time. P.S Pho and lumpia springrolls, and Galbi Ribs are MUST try. The Go roll is legendary, and the Shi roll is awesome. Thanks Chef Kurt!

Went to the newly opened Kuro for lunch today on Main Street, Lakewood Ranch and everything was delicious!!! Started off with a corn tempura appetizer served with a yuzu-miso sauce which was the perfect mixture of sweet and savory. For our main entrees we had the pork belly and miso grilled shrimp lunch special (both $15 each) and both come with miso soup, side of white rice, and seasonal vegetable which was stir-fry baby bok choy. Added the “Go” sushi roll ($23) to share with our entrees which comes stuffed with shisito peppers and topped with seared wagyu (so, so good). And for dessert we indulged in a flavorful ube cheesecake and matcha tres leches cake!!!!!! Go check them out, you won’t regret it!!!!!! Atmosphere is intimate, vibrant, modern, and teeming with great service. They are going to be adding an omakase dining experience that I’m looking forward to in the future also

We went during their soft opening and were not let down with our expectations! The atmosphere was very nice and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Miso Soup, Hachi roll, and Ni roll, all of which were spectacular! The rolls were all 10 pieces (we were too excited to dive in to the Ni roll I forgot to take the photo with all 10!) Our waitress Summer was very good, and knew the menu very well. Will definitely be coming back when they fully open.

What a beautiful restaurant and an excellent location. My wife and I had lunch there today and it was just delightful. First of all our server, Leaky was very attentive and helpful. She checked on us several times and was very pleasant. And then we ordered three different sushi rolls and they were beautiful and delicious. Our favorite of course was the wagyu beef.
We love this new restaurant and should definitely check it out in downtown Lakewood ranch Main Street. Also, the owner Daniel always gets the best qualities sushi possible and you can tell when you taste the freshness. And as usual the drinks and cocktails are amazing!

They have a dedicated gluten free menu, and everything we had was delicious! The salmon crudo was our favorite appetizer, and the fish was so fresh. The ube cheesecake (gf!) was also amazing, not too sweet and you can really taste the ube.

We had a really good meal here! Was pleasantly surprised at the gluten free menu and the wide selection available. We tried three rolls and all were flavorful and fresh tasting and all unique. My family had the pork spring rolls and dumplings and enjoyed both!
