Update: I am changing from 1 to 3. we went here one night and picked up the pizza. Convenient and it was pretty good. More importantly the kids ate it all. The staff was ver kind and courteous. She gave us the pizza they already had in the oven, so we didn’t have a longer wait. I still will never buy the BBQ, but we will be back for the pizza.
This place was a disappointment. We went there a few days after it open. They don’t make anything fresh, which is fine it is a gas station restaurant. All the meat looked the same. Clumped up bits. I was expecting sliced brisket or pieces of burnt ends, but they all looked like the pictures I posted. It was just disappointing. My kids wouldn’t eat it. The taste was ok enough. We won’t be back for the BBQ. The staff was friendly.

Well first I tried to order ribs and burnt end. The guy told me that the ribs were still frozen and didn’t have any. So I got burnt end and potato salad. They worst bbq I had. The burnt end where dried out and over cooked. No seasoning on the meat. The bbq they used sucked. The potato salad they had was nasty. The potatoes where over cook and some where undercooked. Didnt know u could do that. Had no flavor. I try to add salt and pepper and that didn’t even help. This place should close its door. It’s not a bbq joint I want to experiment with again. Very sad and disappointed with the food.

Food actually good. My 1st experience here and I tried the pulled chicken, baked beans, and potato salad. All were tasty and flavorful. I didn’t even put sauce on the meat. Generous portions. I only would have liked meat a bit warmer, but it wasn’t dried out.

Meat was very mediocre. Corn was good. Prices much to high for quality of meat. Peach pie advertised…got apple without being told. Worker nice but saw several people leave because no one at counter.

Perhaps the time of day, but we purchased a sampler plate which was much less than tasty. The meats were hard to chew, not very warm not flavorful. While the meat may be fresher, the sides are typical prepackaged bulk items. Who knows how long they have sat in the refrigerator, let alone the added sodium and other ingredients. The BBQ itself is a sweet sauce, but nothing outstanding. Personally, Break Time sandwiches out of the cooler taste better from the microwave than the Smoke Stack supposedly made fresh sandwiches.

The meat is drenched in a very sweet sauce and you cannot tell pork from the brisket. All looks the same. The taste I would expect from something that was cooked a few days ago and allow to bathe in the sauce. The burnt ends are chewy and dry once you get past the layers of sauce. Expensive old tasting truck stop food. Won’t go back. I would not recommend. The only reason for two stars is portion size.

The barbecue tasted okay but the the pictures they show for burnt ends doesn’t have sauce on it, when you get the burnt ends they’re covered in way too much sauce for the amount of meat, in my opinion. The potato salad was really good and I think the coleslaw would have been better if it hadn’t been spoiled it tasted sour. Sadly the garlic toast and the potato salad was the only good thing about my meal.
