It was a cold and rainy day. After a couple of hours of looking at antiques we were hungry and damp. Ramen was the answer. We drove about 5 minutes up the hill to Niko.
Clean and tidy, and warm. The nice man took our order and delivered lunch to our table. My wife had the Wok Express, a huge platter of orange chicken, rice and salad. I had the ramen and it was delicious. We had a great lunch, and even took some home. I recommend this place.

My Trigger Time
Delicious, well cooked chicken and beef teriyaki. Surprisingly good portions of both. Rice is rice, kidding. Rice was also well cooked. Regular ranch dressing for the side salads. Clean dining room but nothing fancy.

My personal experience here was great, staff and owner was very friendly and the food was delicious. I think all the 1 star review about food poisoning etc… was from years ago from when the previous owner owned the restaurant. Now there is a new owner that came in about 2 weeks ago. Also as you can see the serving portion is enormous. Will highly recommend for anyone looking for a bite.

The servings were huge (we already took a few bites before I took the photo), the teriyaki is one of the yummiest we’ve had — the beef is even better than the chicken, and the service fast and friendly.

It’s still some of the best teriyaki in the Puget Sound. Your best bet is the chicken & beef combo. Make sure to get a side order of gyoza and some extra sauce for the teriyaki—you’ll want it. And the dressing for the salad is addicting, I almost wish I could get a larger cup to dip the meat into it.

The ramen is drool-worthy and totally authentic Japanese cuisine, made with love and attention down to the last drop of flavorful broth. The owners were so kind to keep the door open past closing time for my last-minute pick-up order. I knew from our conversation that they deeply cared about the presentation of and my full enjoyment of the food; their culinary acumen is fine-tuned and greatly appreciated. I wish I lived nearby to eat here more often! Thank you so much!
