Basically I asked for a salami instead of a pepperoni on my BMT.
He said he can’t do that because then it’s not a BMT..
He wanted to charge me extra for the salami!! What??
I am not getting pepperoni !!
So I was like okay, just give me a ham and salami, forget the extra salami instead of pepperoni..
He again said, it’s not a BMT then!!!
I said just ring it up as a BMT, keep the pepperoni as my gift to you!!
Long story short he wouldn’t do it, even though other Subway is okay with it, they understand I am not getting anything for free as he claimed it .
He told me to go to another Subway!!
So I left, I was in the middle of ordering 3 sandwiches, that now will be thrown away.
Well, maybe he didn’t, I bet he put the meat back!!
What a way to treat customers!!
It’s disgusting most of the time, he doesn’t change gloves, no hairnet.
I only have 3 stars because I prefer to order in the app and pick up in the store. I use the app because of the deals. This location does not participate in accepting special deals through the app. That’s a shame because I would have spent more money if they had.
Secondly, the app allows you to track the status of your order. I was in the Walmart when I ordered them walked in to the Subway to wait. The picture I provided was the ‘Online Order Pick Up’ shelf. I like this idea. Come in. Get your sub. Walk out. This picture was taken after the app informed me my order was ready…yet my sub is not on that rack. I waited an additional 5 minutes to see if it would be placed on the rack. Finally, I went to the counter to confirm I had the right location. I did and my sub was behind the counter.
If you are not going to use the rack then put a sign on it instructing customers to go to the counter.
I like the order ahead concept because I don’t have to interact with employees.
