Outstanding Catering Experience – Thank You, Little Italy Canton!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s high school graduation this past June, and we had the pleasure of having Little Italy Canton cater the event. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional.

We began planning back in December with Jessica and her incredible team. From the very first meeting, Jessica took the time to walk us through each dish, offering thoughtful suggestions on what would work best for our event. Her knowledge and professionalism were immediately evident, and we felt confident we were in great hands.

The food was a hit! We started off with a “Wing Bar” for appetizers, followed by a delicious main course spread, and later in the evening, ten pizzas were brought out for a late-night snack—which turned out to be a huge success with our guests! Every dish was exactly as promised—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Jessica’s attention to detail was beyond reproach. Her team arrived on time, helped with setup, and ensured everything ran smoothly. What stood out most was the consistency—her original quote from our first meeting stayed the same right through to the day of the party, with no hidden fees or last-minute surprises.

We received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the overall presentation. Without a doubt, Little Italy Canton played a big role in making our celebration memorable.

Thank you, Jessica and your amazing staff—you did a fantastic job, and we truly appreciate it!

Delicious dough, feels genuine…calzone filling sometimes is undercooked. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks, make sure you get the parm on top! Clean space, nice and friendly service. Got my order messed but went a second time and everything was better. Better than Sergis for sure !!! BEST WINGS!!

After several days, I have decided to make a review. BEWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES! We decided to come here because it had a dine in. It was my son’s birthday and I treated him to dinner. I just want anybody that comes here to BEWARE of the hidden fees and EXTRA CHARGES. The first one is for $3.50 for some kind of OPEN FOOD TAX, never heard of it. The second, is if you pay with credit, I understand most establishment charges for using credit, but nowhere on the menu or walking in the door did they tell you there was a charge for using a credit card. After getting my receipt I was charged over $6 for using a credit card, when it was questioned I was told the prices on the menu WERE credit card prices and yet I was still charged for using a credit card. Just beware of all the hidden charges I paid $11 above and beyond my bill FOR USING A CC CARD. As for the food their garlic knots are the size of golf balls plus paid extra for sauce( don’t they normally come with sauce) , portions are VERY small, and do not come with bread or salad, for the price. We had a child’s spaghetti and was charged $4.00 for sauce, PLUS charged for sauce on boneless wings, BEWARE OF All THE EXTRA CHARGES. Typical college town pizza place.

Stopped in for a slice and a cheese steak. The pizza is solid 9 out of 10. I had a reheated slice, I believe that a whole pie fresh out of the oven would rate even higher. I will go back for the pizza without hesitation. If you like traditional thin crust, they have nailed it, crust, sauce cheese all great. Now the reason for the 3 rating. The cheese”steak”., you don’t want to order. Roll solid 8 out of ten. Amount of onions 9.5 out of 10. The onions were pretty big chunks as opposed to to thinly sliced so that detracted and the sauté on the onions was close but they needed more time. Cheese, non typical mozzarella, not my first choice but worked and the amount was good. Moving onto the “steak”. No seasoning. Amount pitiful. The real challenge was figuring out out exactly what the “steak” was. Unlike any other “meat” I have ever had on a cheese steak. I will go with the assumption that it was beef, hopefully for a bovine, but cheese steak meat it was not. Cheese “steak, overall gets a 3 out of 10. Pizza hell yes, mystery meat cheese steak, hell no.

I was in town for my job and needed to take my break so I grabbed two cheese slices and a soda here. I don’t think I’ve ever been more happy to spend less than at a gas station for two excellent slices, great customer service, and a wonderful little restaurant. If I find myself out in Canton again and craving pizza, I know where to go from here on out.

The service was outstanding! Made me soup from scratch on a day they didn’t have soup already made simply because I was sick. Also threw in some honey and bread rolls for free and were overall incredibly friendly and helpful! Thanks so much to everyone working there and I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Canton Little Italy:

My best friend hired this business to cater their wedding in August 2025. They began planning in December 2024 with this venue. The deposit required was 50%, but they paid 90% upfront to finalize plans.

A month before the wedding, they reached out to confirm details and received no response. When the owner finally replied, she stated she was “busy” and later added unexpected charges for delivery and setup — costs that were not disclosed in the original quote. Understandably, this caused stress for the couple, who had already budgeted based on the original agreement.

When they asked for a breakdown of what had already been paid for, the owner responded rudely, saying it would take her “hours” to prepare and refused to provide clear answers. When the groom attempted to resolve the matter in person, the owner raised her voice, used inappropriate language, and refused to offer either a compromise or refund. She also told them it was “on them” to figure out how to get the food on their wedding day if they did not want to pay the additional fees.

On the day of the wedding, my husband volunteered to pick up the food so the couple wouldn’t have to worry. Despite paying the remaining balance plus gratuity, he was left to load 10 pizzas and 12 trays of food by himself, without assistance — as the owner and staff would not even have the decency to hold the door open.

The food was delivered and had to be warmed up before it was even served at the venue. Thankfully, the wedding crew pulled this off for the newlyweds!

This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply disappointing, especially for such an important occasion. I cannot recommend this business for catering, events, or even casual dining. Transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy should be the standard, especially in hospitality — unfortunately, this establishment showed none of these qualities.

While I love to support local, choose yourself a business that is professional and has the compassion to work with you, one that is respectful and honest!

Great experience all around. Nice cute little place with an amazing atmosphere. The bone in wings were fantastic and possibly the best my son and I have had.

This place was nice. My sister and her friend had lunch here after her graduation. The food took quite a while, but that may have been because of graduation day. I ordered a pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs and a side of fries. The pasta was homey, nothing too special, but it was filling. Even though we waited long for the food, the waitress was really sweet and apologetic and overall we had a good experience.
