Google really needs to had a ‘no star’ option. A complete joke. The girl who delivered my food had the box upside down (you’re welcome for the 20% tip). The food and service was extremely poor. Requested a refund and only received a refund to my bite squad account – something I never asked for and would never ask for. I requested a refund to my account and was told by the supervisor that it was something they could not do. Such a waste of time and money. The photo below is exactly how the food was delivered. Also, I know what you are thinking… who orders a hot dog BUT I did.

Bite squad is a joke. It’s great when they actually function, but when they don’t, it is absolutely terrible. Placed an order that was supposed to arrive within 40 minutes. I never count that as a definite as I’ve ordered with them before and I know that you can’t factor in how busy the restaurant is or the traffic…but after waiting 2 hours to then receiving a text saying the driver was nearby, but looking at the map showing them in a completely different area, and then seeing that it says order delivered when I received nothing was the last straw. I tried to contact their customer support plenty of times, yet it wasn’t working once again. And all they could say was let me call the restaurant. I had to demand a refund. Demand that my unlimited delivery subscription be cancelled and demand that my promo code that I earned from using their services was restored since I already paid for this month. After all of that…no one could still tell me what happened to my order!!! So I give them one star, because it’s great for convenience, but trash because 90% of the time it doesn’t live up to ya expectations.

If I could give no stars I would. We received our food almost an hour after it should have been delivered. Our Firehouse Subs order was cold and the bread was soggy. We are not from the area and we were offered a $25 credit linked to our Bite Squad account, we don’t have Bite Squad in Louisiana. Not only have we lost the money we spent on dinner but we also lost out on the credit. They refuse to give us a refund and there are no numbers to call so that I don’t have to type everything. They are also deleting our conversations through their messages on the app. So I can’t even pull those back up.

Absolute worst customer service. Food never arrived, denied a refund even though I repeatedly stated that I do not have a chair outside my residence where the food was supposedly left. I was kind and patient with the person handling the claim, but they refused to listen to me and then blamed the missing food on me saying that I should “include better delivery instructions”. I have an address. I have a phone number. And I have delivery instructions listing the community, how many speedbumps to go over before turning. I literally could not have more comprehensive instructions. We have food delivered all the time (mostly DoorDash since they actually care about their customers), but occasionally we crave a restaurant thats only on a different app. Somehow, the food gets here 99% of the time, so I don’t think my instructions were the issue. We have ordered from bitesquad in the past and gotten the food delivered correctly. But rather than believe an honest and paying customer, they blame them. Then they ask if there’s anything else they can help with and immediately close the chat before you can reply. Even though I waited patiently with them for roughly 30 mins while they tried to sort out what happened to my order before denying it. No wonder no one uses this company. Out of our $40, about 2 hours worth of time (waiting for the order and then disputing it), and our food. What a horrible experience with horrible people. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app at all costs.

We’ve tried giving them our business but have had an issue on more than one occasion with 1. Food being cold & 2. Being late. Today, I ordered an hour and 15 minutes ago from a local restaurant and it’s 25 minutes late from the expected arrival time, AND they haven’t even picked it up from the restaurant yet. Extremely frustrating and all customer service will do is credit the Bite Squad account in hopes we order again. Not going to happen. Save your frustration and use another service.

Done paying for this terrible service. It used to be great a few years ago. Now you are lucky to get warm food. My final straw was when they took the liberty of canceling the majority of my order. The final result was a personal pineapple pizza that cost over $30 (due to fees, etc.). They refused to refund anything more than the two pizzas that they canceled and their original idea of a refund was a credit. All of this and we still had make our own dinner anyways. Doing direct take out from now on.

Where do I begin… So for the second time now I have been unable to use a promo code after having my first form of payment declined because the system thinks that I’ve already use the code before. When I brought this to the customer service representatives attention she promptly added a $10 credit to my account – which sounds great before you consider that credits and promo codes can’t be combined in the same transaction. This means it isn’t a real credit but a coupon disguised as a credit. I told her that I would rather have a $10 refund so that it could actually apply to my order since I would never ever use the app due to the exorbitant services fees, when there isn’t a coupon. She basically told me too bad so sad that’s our policy and logged off. 30 minutes later I go to check the status of my order and it turns out I’ve been locked out of my account for 24 hours, Presumably because I have stirred the pot. Come to find out this customer service rep canceled my order without telling me, (after a delivery person had already picked up the food) which I would not have found out unless I had called the restaurant. I have deleted the app and made it my mission to tell everyone I know: stay away from this trash app.

Expect to lose money using this company! I manage lunches daily for the company I work for and we spend a significant amount of money doing so. Just about 2-3 times a week we are missing items or even complete meals NOT OUR FAULT. Months ago I had to argue because they refused a refund and finally got someone to take care of it. We are visiting this subject again a bite squad driver forgot a complete meal we paid for on the receipt print out yet they refuse to refund our money for a meal the DID NOT DELIVER! No one will help now and we are just out money over this! We PRE PAY for the food and then have to hope they complete it or we are just out of our money??? This is stealing! What if it continues and we are just out of money continuously because our account is on some status to no longer get a refund???!!! Our trust in this company has been lost! Don’t even want to give 1 star only did because I have to click one.

I wish I could say that one of my deliveries was ever delivered correctly. I’ve had instances In which I order and I have guests in the house and one or two items are missing. One time I got a message that the food was delivered, however it never showed up. They only reimburse you with credit so you continue to try using them but they don’t do anything to improve their service in anyway. I am going to let them keep their latest credit and never use bite-squad again.

I was supposed to receive a refund because the driver arrived late, BiteSquad put that on my receipt. It didn’t arrive and when I asked I was told it was credit. I said that wouldn’t work and they claim to have initiated it, but also warned me this was a one time refund. Unless you want to do business with a shady company that considers store credit as a refund, I would not give them your credit card information. If I hadn’t checked my statement I would have assumed it was refunded like it said on my receipt.

I have had 2 orders where they forgot an item, and I wasn’t able to use my $5 credit because of an issue with the app. For my order today the driver took over an hour to go 2 miles because she didn’t use gps. Went to the wrong apartments multiple times. Food was all room temp. Terrible use of my money.
