THEY CATER TOO! Lemon Door recently catered a Celebration Of Life in memory of my mom… I was expecting a few simple serving trays on the table but the autumnal display that greeted our family nearly brought me to tears. Owner/Caterer Extraordinaire Melodie honored the importance of the event with food that not only looked amazing, but tasted fresh and was prepared with love. Do all you can to support The Lemon Door. This business is a treasure of Grant County.

She is the most genuine friendly and sweetest lady you will ever meet. Excellent experience! It truly was all the hype was about. Excellent robust flavors, local ingredients, and low carbon footprint choices. From the paper straws, satiating sandwiches to smokey ham and bean soup, it was all delightful!! Artisan produced dishes with superior mouthfeel, well balanced ingredient compositions. Melodie was engaging, friendly and insightful. Joined by my family for my birthday we laughed, delighted in the atmosphere and savored our dishes. Chaz did an excellent job producing our custom order sandwiches.

This place really deserves more than 5 stars. Between the food, atmosphere, and kindness of the owners. It has big city vintage coffee shop vibes and you can tell everything is made with love! Give the blackberry vanilla iced coffee a try!

Excellent food!! So fresh, delicious, pretty and nutritious. The service was prompt and friendly. We sat outside with our dogs which was nice and the owner seemed to know so many people in town, cared about their families and about the quality of food and service she was giving. She makes delicious homemade dressings and gazpacho. And the establishment is very eco-friendly which is a plus. All around really an enjoyable experience! Would go here often if we lived here!

While planning a camping trip, The Lemon Door stood out to me as a sandwich/coffee place that would be a great stop for a lunch. The pictures of sandwiches and platters online really set it apart. Once we arrived it was clear The Lemon Door is a frickin gem and if I lived in Fennimore I would be overjoyed. Melodie and her crew are skilled and creative. This kind of quality does not happen by accident. I had a croissant sandwich with turkey, swiss, hard-boiled egg, pickled veggies, mixed greens, mayo, and dijon. My wife and daughter both loved theirs as well. Great coffee too! I wouldn’t hesitate to utilize the catering either. I’m just scratching the surface, and it’s clear there’s flexibility in getting folks what they’re looking for. If I am in Fennimore, I am stopping at The Lemon Door.
