Stopped in for lunch while in town, good selection of sandwiches and coffee beverages. I was impressed with the house chips, had I known how good they’d be, I would have asked for an extra order. There were a lot of them in my sandwich box, I snacked on them my whole drive home (1hour +). I had the Caprese on white and a cold brew, both were very good. Service was a bit slow, it was before the normal lunch rush. But it was worth the wait, maybe call in your order if you’re in a rush

Vegan friendly café. They have vegan cheese! Yay! Vegan Sandy panini was such a cheezy melty toasty treat. There is also a vegan chkn tenders wrap on the menu. The sweet potato waffle fries are *next level*. Real hunk of sweet potato waffle ironed and crisped to perfection. Quite literally the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had in my life. Seasoned salt sprinkled on them, but they’d be awesome with cinnamon sugar dusted as a sweet treat. Strawberry smoothy slaps, perfect sweet strawberry flavor. Quite a line up of coffee drinks as well. Maple cinnamon sugar cold brew is calling me back very soon! If you have children, there’s a small inside play area for them. Plenty of room, ample seating or take away. Right beside a public ( free) parking lot. All central to downtown, easy stroll to other shops, banks, post office etc.

We got the Vegan Tender wrap and the Lobster panini (which was the current special).
Both were fantastic.
The kids got chicken tenders. They have a cute little kitchen play space for kids which they loved to play with.

The best place for lunch in Farmington! The vegan chicken wrap is my go to and it is !! the in house chips are a crispy delight to accompany and the iced coffee is on point. Everyone I bring here has something different and always enjoyed. The staff is fun, personable and always bring a smile to my face. Thank you & keep bringing the good!

The Downtown Press Cafe is an incredible hidden gem in Farmington for a great lunch. My panini was fresh and delicious. They have an expansive menu of paninis, wraps, salads along with smoothies and cold brews. Customer service was top notch as well. They make things easy by offering online ordering and DoorDash. Highly recommend!

Update 22Nov24: Three years on, this is still our favorite place for lunch or breakfast. Nice people and really good food.
We stopped in for breakfast . They have a wide variety of fresh baked pasties and specialty breakfast items. We had waffles with bacon. We paid extra for real maple syrup and found out that the portion was so generous that we could have got just one syrup and shared it. The waffles were good, but because they had only one waffle maker, the first one had cooled off a bit. Would recommend getting just one waffle order per table. Coffee was fresh and bold (not watered down). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The venue was spotless and comfortable. Would have given 5 stars if both waffles had been hot.
Update: Got lunch here today. They have gone to a limited menu due to staffing, but still a great place to get lunch. Great service. Note that they now do take out and have connected to a delivery service.

I was so excited to stop and get lunch when I was in town doing errands I had been craving it for weeks. My boyfriend and I each got wraps and sweet potato fries and it was SO good. We got full about halfway and did some shopping in town and my German shepherd managed to get upfront under the drivers seat, locate the leftovers and get the boxes out from under the seat, open the boxes, and devour every last crumb except he left the pickle on the e-brake. He has never done that before nor did I think he’d fit to do all that. I was so upset but Tundra also gives a 10/10! I’ve learned my lesson and am anxious to come back!

So, I had this waffle. The whole thing. And it was amazing. Years of my life just evaporated in a rush of sugary goodness, but please, who’s counting? Pro tip: if you order the waffle, avoid sitting next to families with small children, because those kids have eyes, and they will, without a doubt, refuse to eat anything else their parents order for them.
