Tried el rey sol today and I’ve gotta say this place is a hidden gem has a rustic authentic Mexican restaurant feel I thought it was back in Mexico for a second
I ordered guacamole and the chicken A La Parilla plate every thing was delicious and tasted fresh the tortilla taste like they were made in house
The best part of it all was the customer service very attentive and accommodating
Great food and great customer service warrants a second return trip
Last but not least that cheesecake has to be the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life perfect amount of topping it was a 10 outta 10 for sure

Waited over an hr for me and my wifes food. My entire plate of food was so cold I couldnt even eat it. Told the cashier and just got an apology. Didn’t even try to make it right. Will definitely not be going back.

The waitress was horrible. Didn’t bring chips and salsa. It was almost an hour before we got our food. We were tired and hungry. My husband order was wrong he didn’t even eat. They didn’t offer any apology or reduce the bill. We will definitely not be going back.

Great atmosphere friendly service and good food. The bacon wrapped jalapenos we’re not overcooked liked other places, and the prices were fair. Great decorations and atmosphere. This is a bit of a gem in the desert.

FAN…..TASTIC!! A friend of mine told me about this place so I was passing through and stopped with another buddy. The empanadas and chili verde were both amazing!!! The atmosphere is nice and authentic and the staff was super friendly! Highly recommended!

The only thing they have going right is the salsa and the alcohol. Food is very mid, ate there 2 different times. First time i ordered the beef fajitas and they were very small. Second time i ordered the enchiladas and they were so small and the sauce tasted like it was out if a can.

I want to give this place 5 stars across the board but the time it takes to get your food is the only thing holding them back great place especially in the middle of nowhere food was great but took longer than ever to be expected, I will be going back while I’m out in the Crane area to give it another shot. I strongly suggest everyone to stop in & try them out

First time to try this place driving through. Ordered three breakfast burittos. First bite the tortillas are store bought, not heated up thoroughly so they tasted rubbery, the chorizo was awful, tasted sour. The kids attempted to eat their burritos and that was a bust as well, they took two bites and to the trash they went.
