Reviews
Best Viet restaurant in MK.
We visited this place a year ago and I remember it being much better. No idea what’s going on? Not sure if they’ve lost the love and passion, but seems so.
When we had to try and pick cling film off the summer rolls is when I should have left.
Anyway, honestly, is this the worst food you’ll have? No. Is it worth £44 we paid? I’d say no.
Is the only Vietnamese you can get round here? Yes.
The noodle salad was meh, the pho was OK. Just not much flavour going on anywhere. Even the satay/peanut sauce that came with the summer rolls just tasted like watered down SUNPAT peanut butter.
The kiwi bubble tea was straight up BAD. I have no idea what that was. Again, like watered down fruit juice?
Anyway, it makes me sad writing reviews like this because I respect local businesses, but damn put some love back into your food please.
If you’re going to charge London prices for a noodle salad, it best have some taste to it.
The host was super-attentive and the food some of the best Vietnamese i’ve had… absolutely delicious, from the chicken spring rolls and prawn summer rolls, to the bbq pork banh mi and rare beef and meatball pho – all for a very very reasonable price given the superb fresh dishes and quality of the food. We’ll be back soon – !
Food quality is fantastic, reasonable prices and lovely dressings and sauces.
The restaurant is cosy with 4 tables which sit 4-6 people, but it’s very nicely decorated and there’s garlic pickles and sauces and cutlery on the tables.
We ordered Banh Cuon which was delicious, as well as the summer rolls, which came as 3 rolls, so decent portions!
Also ordered the special Bun which came with grilled pork and spring rolls. The pork could have been a bit more crispy, but it was very well flavoured and great portions, very tasty.
Ordered a takeaway of lots of baguettes for family back home.
This restaurant only opened last year. There’s a big free car park opposite (the church car park)
Will definitely come again.
Authentic top quality food, run by a Vietnamese family.
