I really enjoy their bagels! I’ve been a handful of times so far and have never been disappointed. Bagels are always melty, flavorful, and packed with a nice amount of protein of your choice. I also love that it is locally owned – one of the owners is usually behind the counter cooking things up. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

My mom and I stopped by to check out the newly opened Bagel Bros! We were very happy with our garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese and avocado melt. While we were waiting for our food, we decided to get a couple chocolate chip bagels and pastries but we couldn’t resist after looking at them! The staff was friendly, and they balanced the volume of their orders well! I was glad that we lived only a few minutes away because we hadn’t realized it was take-out only, but maybe when the weather gets warmer they’ll have some tables set up outside. Definitely a great addition to Shelton!

I was accused of lying about paying for a bagel.
I had ordered over the phone and walked in to pick it up. I said my name and the guy looked at the ordered and confirmed what I asked for since the lady who took my order wrote my name down wrong.
He stared at the receipt on the bag for a few seconds and then just hands it to me and says you’re all set. At this point no money has been exchanged, and I honestly didn’t even realize. I’m so used to ordering via Uber Eats and picking up, and I’ve come to this bagel store many times and never ordered over the phone before.
Long story short this guy chased me down 2 blocks away and tells me that he asked if I had paid and that I said yes and he has the footage to prove it. It’s a $4 bagel and I come to you store on an almost daily basis, promise I would’ve made it right. I wasn’t feeling petty enough to tell this guy to watch the footage together so we can both watch him never ask me if I paid and me never answer that question because well, that never happened.
Pretty silly situation over 4 bucks but I don’t appreciate being made out to be an A-hole and a liar. Won’t be coming back here.

Decent not great bagel. But for $1.56 for plain cream cheese I’d expect more. Not impressed

Went in on Monday to Oxford location and ordered a steak and cheese on egg bagel and French toast bagel with cream cheese. The steak sandwich had egg on it. A mistake I can understand as i asked for a steak and cheese breakfast sandwhich on an “egg” bagel. There was very little steak. my daughter liked the pancakes. My French toast bagel was delicious and I went back for one today. The bagel I received today was drowned in powdered sugar. I did not specify not to put powdered sugar on my first one (on Monday) nor did I ask for powdered sugar on today’s. Not sure where this abundance of powdered sugar comes from??? I was very disappointed to have to try to wipe it all off to eat the bagel. It’s nice having a bagel shop in town again, very inconvenient that it is currently only accepting cash. I’ll give it another try, hopefully the menu will be more clear regarding the presence or absence of powdered sugar and we can at least pay with cards.

Bagel Bros bagels are the closest to my beloved NY bagels in the area. Nice variety of flavors, though I’d love to see pumpernickel added to the menu!
This is strictly take-out, so dont expect to eat breakfast inside.

Okay. I grew up in the valley and now live about 20 minutes from the NY line. I’ve had the best and worst of all bagels. I made the 45 minute trip to give this place a try. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I ordered a few things so my husband and I could try. The bagels are perfect..crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and the flavors were on point. My bacon egg and cheese had so much bacon on it and the egg was cooked perfectly. The scallion cream cheese on the other bagel was also so yummy.
It helps that the staff was super sweet and was offering me a whole bunch of suggestions on things to get because I told them I wanted to try it all. The only issue is now I’ll want to drive 45 minutes for one of these bagels. Definitely giving top 10 places to get a bagel vibes. Best of luck guys! You’re killing it!

Best bagels I’ve ever had. The younger gentleman chef is a lot better than the older one, but the breakfasts are fantastic. I got a “tuna melt” there once which was just a cold tuna sandwich and the cheese wasn’t even melted, so I stick to breakfast only.

Been a frequent (happy) customer since they opened over a year ago.
First off, the ownership and customer service is great. Very friendly and helpful. Always welcomed with a smile and a friendly greeting.
Secondly, the bagels are great. They have the perfect balance of being chewy, yet light and not dense like most in the area. Their spreads are tasty as well (try the honey sriracha on a sesame.)
Highly recommend the “Hot Pastrami” and “The Lox” from their menu. Both are loaded with high quality pastrami and salmon with the right amount of accompaniments.
These guys love what they do and it shows.

I’m a native NY’er who made and baked bagels in a restaurant while growing up in NY and have waited years for a place just like the kind we had to open in the area. Happy Days are here and can not say enough about their bagels, service, spreads, and all other offerings are delicious. Their welcoming ways are real, appreciate the fact of being local and love to support this hardworking Family and their bagels are 100% New York…
