This place is really good. It’s just downstairs from our Airbnb. The waitress Jocelyn was our server, very sweet. Food was great. Cleared my plate!! The #1 Seafood Platter was good. And the music is phenomenal. The second day, ordered the fried seafood platter, cleared that plate too!

We went to Chapin’s twice during our stay in NOLA and got good value for our dollar both times. The food is solid and well prepared- nothing extra special but fresh and tasty. The happy hour oyster special is a great deal. Strong drinks, and an incredible deal on the early bird breakfast special. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but for the price you can’t have everything

Love this place, came here 3 times during our weekend stay. Great happy hour deals, and great seafood!
We loved the oysters and crawfish. Even early season they have crawfish when other restaurants ran out. The build your own quesadilla was also the perfect late night meal!

Had the greatest experience! Everyone was super great. My brother said “you’re literally the best waitress I’ve ever had” to our waitress, Layla. The food was delicious. We had the crawfish boil, charbroiled oysters, and red beans and rice. Most attentive service all around and a place that should be on your list if going to a game. (They have TVs as well!!)

Convenience was the big factor after a 579 mile trip. This place was right by our hotel. Went in at 4 pm and the place was pretty much empty. Happy hour special was half dozen oysters for 5.99 and 2 for 1 bottled beer. We both ordered shrimp po boys with fries. From entry time to departure was about an hour so not bad. Server was attentive and cleared away the table on a consistent basis. I would be concerned if the place was packed based on staffing I’m sure you would have a considerable wait. No complaints here and I would come back.

Perhaps they don’t get the traffic they deserve but the food and service here are amazing. Their take on the classic Shrimp Po’boy was fantastic with the addition of onion. Their char-grilled oysters can challenge the best of them. A hidden gem!

We picked this place based on reviews and pictures of their food. However, it left us wanting…
We walked in and the restaurant was completely empty. When asking questions about the boudin on the menu, both the server and the cook stated they’d never cooked/served it to anyone. That did not spark confidence in us…
We ordered the country breakfast bowl with bacon and the early bird special with bacon. We also ordered a single link of boudin to try it.
The boudin was a weird consistency and had little to no seasoning inside. It basically made the shredded pork the star but it didn’t shine.
The potatoes were good on both dishes. The cheese on the bowl was a bit odd. It didn’t really melt like cheese should. All in all, it was a let down after so many other amazing places this week.

The taco salad and omelet was delicious. Great restaurant, wide variety menu selection, specials and awesome service. Jocelyn our server was the best! Definitely a great find in the heart of New Orleans.

We waited a bit to be seated because of the holidays. Service and food was so slow. We ordered some oysters and gumbo here. The oysters looked unappealing and was fine but the gumbo was pretty bad. Rice wasn’t fully cooked and none of the food we got was hot. They were all lukewarm.

I was so excited to find a breakfast place that was open late. The food was way better than expected. It’s a great spot for a little bit of everything.
