After a day of exploring in Death Valley, we made our way to Ridgecrest for the evening. Since we were getting in later, we Googled local places along the way to see what would be open when we got to town. We decided to have dinner at The Patriot Bar in Ridgecrest and loved it. Delicious!
The Angels Envy old fashioned was PERFECT, and the black and blue burger with fig jam was HEAVEN! I loved that they had a resident pup too. That added a really nice touch to the place.
If I’m being honest, we were concerned at first with a name like The Patriot and with their branding that this would be some kind of rough dive bar sort of setting or something similar that a couple hikers like us wouldn’t fit in at. But we were so surprised (and wrong) when we walked in. The vibes were amazing, friendly smiling guests and staff, great lighting, nice stylings. The bartender (maybe owner?) was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and chill.
Our server was a DOLL. I wish she could be our server at every restaurant on our trip. She was so sweet and attentive, with a touch of that good ol’ diner-waitress sort of flair. We felt at home immediately. I only wish we were in town longer so this could become my local haunt, and so I could try more of the menu!

We came here 2 days in a row. 1st night we had pastrami burgers, wings and fries. 2nd night was steak night. Both meals were on point, everything from the burgers to the steak, mac&cheese, wings were soooo good. On top of that the owener made sure we were comfortable and our servers were the best.Rachel and Kyanne were so much fun. They made us laugh every time they came to our table, this made our night. Best place in Ridgecrest. 10 out of 10

We came in for breakfast and were blown away. The omelettes were fresh, fluffy, and packed with flavor — the perfect start to the day. Later on, we tried their Philly cheesesteaks, and wow…loaded, cheesy, and cooked just right. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
The drinks deserve their own spotlight — the espresso martinis were next-level. Huge shoutout to Bobbie behind the bar for mixing them perfectly! And Jen made sure our food came out hot and exactly how we wanted it, with such friendly, attentive service.
If you’re looking for great food, strong drinks, and an awesome team that makes you feel welcome, Patriot Bar & Grill is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

A great place for a bite to eat and to watch the game! They had multiple large TVs above the bar, and more around the restaurant area which was perfect for watching the football game. Also the bartender was wicked nice, which was awesome on my first weekend in town

Prime rib was some of the best steak I’ve had great portions had lunch here came back for dinner and ordered the same thing. Definitely a place to come and have a little fun R&R ( rest and recovery) had a few drinks bartenders were very restful and attentive.

We went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. It was very welcoming and enjoyable. The food and drinks were amazing. The customer service was beyond exceptional and a welcome change to what we have been experiencing of late.

Old Triple T’s finally reopened after shutting down during the pandemic. Initially, understaffed I thought because of the long wait for service. Much better now with more staffing. They serve hot meals but only from seven to eight at night; hopefully that will expand as they get more business. Had a couple of bands play recently that were pretty entertaining. Back room has pool tables. No wifi though, but still a nice place to hang out for a while.

It’s hard for me to rave about a steak I didn’t cook myself but I’m telling you this was bomb!! I asked for it rare and actually got it rare. Beautiful cut of meat (met their statement in the menu about hand picking their cuts, I believe that!), all sides fantastic!!! Definitely go here if you’re into great good, cold beer and Cornhole!!
