We’ve ordered the bossam more than 10 times, and it’s always been good—until our last visit. This time, the pork was overwhelmingly fatty, almost all fat with very little lean meat, making it greasy and hard to enjoy.

The pork was surprisingly high quality tender, flavorful, and well-prepared. It was absolutely worth the price, especially considering the generous portion size. The service was also excellent; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made the overall experience even better.

Kang’s honestly makes the best jokbal and it’s worth the 1.5 hr round trip. Between NYC, LA and Seattle, Kang’s tastes the best out of all the ones I’ve had. The skin is flavorful, the kimchi is great, and the portion is nice and heavy. They even have a stamp card for loyal customers.

It is really good taste. You can feel something good as you see in the picture. This is really same as a traditional food in Korea. If you want to get an experience about Korean food, I strongly recommend it. Especially I do not feel any smell from pig because I think they use something special for removal of a smell. It is very tender and soft. So, older people and kids can enjoy it as well. Anyway, I had really awesome experience with the Kang’s Jokbal.

I’m normally very picky with pork products since I’m sensitive with pork smell. Couldn’t resist checking out the trotter dish since the pictures looked good.
The to-go container was wrapped nicely, very clean-cut. The first bite of the wrap was amazing! The meat is a good mix of tenderness and chewiness. Both the shrimp and bean paste were good. Would definitely try again!

There is limited or no seating. The orders are for take out only. Pork feet are tasty and cooked in traditional Korean way. An order comes with sides like romaine lettuce , sauce, etc.

Best take-out bossam in town
Ordered a day before for a pick up on Sunday lunchtime. The front told us that they take order for 1 person, 3 people, etc (so not for 2 people) so we (2 people) ordered amount for 3 people.
It was ready by the time we arrived. The order included bossam, ssamjang, salted shrimp condiment, and fresh lettuces. The front lady gave us two free sodas as service for newcomers
The quantity was enough for two hungry adults! Even though it was take out, the quality was on par with bossam you get from dining in at different places.

Listen, if your menu only has like 5 items on it, those items better deliver… and oh my gosh did this place deliver. We got the spicy pig trotter and pork belly combo and I’m telling you right now, I will be coming back for more.
