2nd Review: I hate to give a bad review but the carnitas meat was horrible. I had to spit out the meat twice. I would guess the carnitas was 30% meat and 70% cartilage. I don’t know why they serve such poor carnitas meat. I don’t know if it’s how they cooked the meat or the quality but I don’t recommend the carnitas meat.
Their special hot sauce is very good.

9:00 am on Friday morning stopped for breakfast. I was the only customer. Ordered coffee and water to drink. Coffee only with no sugar. Had to go search tables and only found a splenda packet at another table. Drank two sips of coffee, not good. The lady working the restaurant was wearing her white music headphones and very inattentive. Had she stopped by my table I would have ask for sugar for my coffee. The last two times I ate here the service was good and food was good. The Migas breakfast on Friday was very disappointing. I will have to find a new place to eat in Gainesville. I felt like they did not want me to dine with them.

As we are wont to do, we decided to give this restaurant a try. It was a very authentic Mexican restaurant and the service was good. Mrs. Flip Out tried the carne asada and it had good flavor. I had the barbacoa de res and it had a nice flavor. The sauces added some good heat to it. Little Flip Out enjoyed the kids burger.

All I can say is WOW. Ordered pastor taco plate. Chips and sals were delivered to my table. Salsa, has no taste whatsoever and is portioned into a cup so small that I couldn’t even fit my chip into. The tacos come to the table and right off the bat I can tell that this meat is NOT fresh. Looks like it’s at least four or five days old. It has no flavor and the seasoning is gritty and pastey.. Really was hoping to find another great gem in this amazing town of food places, but this will certainly not be one of them. Mentioned my concerns to the staff and was offered a 50% discount. 50% discount for a plate of food I took one bite of. Thanks but no thanks. Do not recommend.

I just ordered their food today from the food truck off of Denison Street. My tacos were over cooked and very little dipping sauce. I called to inform them and all they said was they would let their manager know , a before that she told me that this is how they were made … I’ve had them before they are not suppose to be burnt , the shell is so hard and it just wasn’t good.

We will definitely be back! I’ve seen the photos others have posted of the food & let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Our portions were big, our service was beyond excellent, and the food was delicious. The Torta con Borrega was to die for, highly recommended! Oh, and the salsas were yummy!

We order from them weekly. This morning for some reason the order taking process was extremely difficult for them to understand and when we got home we did not receive what we ordered and when asking for the specific hot sauce the containers were nearly empty. I think we will try other establishments for a while. Might try again in the future but may be a while
