Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had a great experience at this Whataburger! The food was really good and tasted fresh. The service was amazing, everyone was so nice and welcoming. They made me feel appreciated as a customer. All the employees I interacted had great attitudes and great service. There was a little hiccup with the order that I wasn’t even upset about. They went above and BEYOND to make it right. Almost had to fight them off saying it was okay. Just kidding. Friendly attitudes was my biggest highlight.

Friendly customer service but after 2 visits that’s the best our family can say. Patties are paper thin, fries are not fresh nor salty. My kids grilled cheese was absolutely horrible. 1⭐ Review for Whataburger
This was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had in a while. My order was made wrong, so I brought it back and asked if it could be fixed. Instead of actually correcting it, the burger was handed back still wrong like it was a hassle to remake it properly.
The burger itself was disappointing. The patties were paper thin, there was way too much mustard, and the bun was dry and cracked apart instead of being soft like a fresh bun should be. It literally flaked and broke when I picked it up, which usually means the bread is stale or over-toasted.
Mistakes happen, but the whole point of customer service is fixing them when they do. That didn’t happen here. Between the incorrect order, the overly mustard-covered burger, thin patties, and a bun that looked and tasted old, this visit was a complete letdown.

We went through the drive thru. My husband got a number 12 plain add tomato. Check it and it had sauce on it. Go back in and told them. Then get back in the vehicle and come home and there’s no tomato.
Also I ordered a basic burger only cheese, mayo and lettuce. They asked “no mustard” we said no. Get home and loaded with mustard.
